In texas you can poses and shoot any firearm. At the range or hunting. Open carry of a pistol is limited to hunting on your own property. No where else. Conceled carry is legal with a lisence. Concieled in your car is legal. No laws but none on long guns!
I do California Gun Defense (23 years). There is basically no right to have guns in CA anymore. If you can't afford to move to Russia, you can always go to California where communism rules. @murcielago8898 I have seen many videos on youtube on open carry rights being violated or harrased for open carrying a handgun or long gun and I notice most people that open carry are not a threat to anyone, on the contrary these people seem well educated in law, the constutution and rights, court rulings...etc My conclusion is that they are hard working law abbiding citizens which = them not being criminals. I'm no fan of fire arms as I've seen first hand the damage even small calibre weapons can do, but better they be in the hands of ordinary people than trigger happy cops who've been captured on video committing 1st degree murder only to receive a mere slap on the wrist. we only have to look at the instances where an unarmed population are subject to the government and their mercenaries(police/military) to realise this isn't so much of a right as it is a responsibility in retaining a free society
