  • I was living close to Birkenhead Mollington St shed around then, and took lots of photos of rats, 40s and the odd 47 there. Very similar to the scenes at Longsight. Never saw any railway workers at weekends.....nor their cars!

  • A pity NH isn't still filled with class 40s.

    Now it's just rancid plastic units.

    And I bet the fitters aren't allowed to service their cars with railway oil these days either :-)
