Same here this bike looks so out of place it aint funny to all the previous VFR which was easy to spot.
Anyway after spending a fair sum of money getting the 2006 VFR bike to where i want it theres nothing on the new one thats going to change my mind anytime soon even if it has a bigger engine.
I can't imagine what the styling department were thinking of considering this bike is the replacement for the old VFR and the Blackbird.
I used to own a '99 Blackbird and I still think the looks are beautiful. It also had the best drag coefficient of any bike until the Hayabusa came along. I own an '07 Busa now and love it to bits.
No matter how good the motor is in this new VFR, I won't be trading in my bike for one!
Of course it looks like a tourer.. this is the F version.. But yes, the normal version also looks a bit too BMW:ish.. it's a pity. Hopefully Honda will do something about it.
Great bike to ride, did a two hour 200 klm test ride across a range of roads and it was excellent in every respect.
Very quick
Very stable
Stops on a dime
Looks very cool in real life
Better than the old man looking VFR's 6th gen
Riding back to back on a Triumph Sprint ST 1050, this bike wins hands down

Nadda, don't like it at all.. looks more like a tourer... the fairings need more.... you know :) its just.. boring

Hmmmm... Looks a little like a Beemer. Where are all the original designs?!? Did the design team come from BMW?
wordstunner 2 years ago
I dont like what they've done with it. They've taken all the sportyness away from the look and made it a tourer. Unsmart move there, Honda!

Looks like you could probably fit a haggis in each of those tiny bags. Mmmm... haggis.

I don't like the side view.. with the fireblade-like fairing.. everything else is fine with me.. it's all about the ride..

Looks like Honda just copied BMW here.

A Spaniard designed it. No surprise there, they're both European.

what a bull shit VFR. Honda lost there touch. I liked the old 800 and the revised 800 was cool and sporty but this is an abomination in my opinion!

Saddle bags completely ruin the lines on the back of the bike.

the side compartment and back rest make this look shitty.

The side looks too much like a beemer. The panniers doesn't look fierce enuf. Shifting the exhaust back down is a huge mistake.

Not the best looking VFR but you know the engine will sound lovely being a V4. 1989 400 NC30 would be better suited to my budget.

i dont like the front . the old vfr front was waaay better
edhawk21 2 years ago
bike looks beautiful. except the front, that bits fucked up, if it had a similar front to the old model i would seriously consider buying one
Skr3wson87 2 years ago
Really nice looking bike, I think they could of made the front a lot better but that wouldn't stop me buying one. =p
