  • Chicken breast is over rated white meat taste slimey when poached! I like thighs and drumsticks cause they get stringy which I like and they don't over cook like breasts

  • @Hartebreaker84 your right...but if you cook a breast with care and passion...with love....adding a sprig of rosemary at first, finishing with a touch of butter...resting it. you will enhoy your chicken breast.

  • @retrotw yep that's true. Chicken breast is terrible compared to the dark meat. Personally I like chicken thighs the best. Great flavor, versatile, and ver forgiving when cooked.

  • OK im sick and tired of saying things like "marco is a cheat because he uses the stock pot". Any one who's worked in a kitchen knows that making a white stock or a brown stock takes time, money and carefull attention. NOW to the avereage home cook, that can become a major chore. Using stock pot cant come anywere close to a perfectly made brown stock ( simmering for 6-8 hours depending on the stock being made).....the knoor stock pots isnt perfect but its ideal for ahome cook.

  • @sebyjoseph01 He says it's the nearest thing to a stock it's just stock that has been reduced down cooled to a jelly adding water just rehydrates it. It's never gonna be as fresh but hey you can't expect stock to last a year in a cupboard can you! So good point well made mate!

  • @M747202172763 I can see were you coming from mate, marco does use the stock cubes in most of his dishes and the anwser is quite simple. The cubes dont wash of as salt does. THATS IT!...nothing more nothing less.....its just better then salt, its got the "saltiness" that salt does and additional flavor. so then why not use it?

    Nothing wrong with knorr, but he lost me after using supermarket mayonaise (1:49) and after becoming the spokesman for turkey twizzlers. Nothing you can say could attenuate something like that.

    It takes 30 seconds to make your mayo, little more than taking the jar from the fridge, plus it's cheaper.

    I'm having a hard time believing you don't know what's wrong with crappy generic mayo, are you being paid by Marco ? Chemical-ridden, dangerous if not preserved properly, unhealthy, fattening, overpowers the flavor of vegetables and, finally, it tastes like sh*t.

  • @CollectivePreference For you may that "30" seconds may seem simple but when you come back after a job, the last thing you want to do is make mayo. For me its all about having a good meal under 30 minutes. why are you complaining about the chemicals....half the candy, chocolates, preserved foods in general, HAVE YOU SEEN THE INGREDIENTS IN A MCDONALDS BUN?....all have incredable amounts of chemicals...then why whine about mayo? something most people eat a tbsp per sitting?

"unhealthy"?.....which mayo is healthy mate?. "fattening"?...your kidding me right?......after all this i do agree with you...homemade mayo does taste better but its not simple for everyone. Iam not being paid by marco ( i chuckled when read this)....im just saying the truth.
