i have all this and i used usbloader a lot but the ios i have works for most all games except black ops and possibly other games i dont have yet what i wanna know is is there a ios that you can use for all games instead of switching from the 2 i hope you have an anwser because i just want to play my games without switching back and forth betweeb ios

I give up. I've tried and tried. My remotes unsync themselves and there is no way to resync them back. If anyone can help, it'd be greatly appreciated. If not, I'll have to give up.. rather not keep trying different things just to brick a Wii I just got.

Thank you! A good straightforward step by step guide to running a USB loader on a 4.3 system. I had read many other guides, but they were all written pre-4.3 so I wasn't sure if they were going to brick my system. I worked through this, except I used the letterbomb to get the initial homebrew install on, and it was quick and easy. Good job.

Of all the Wii Hack videos, your video is the only one to dumb the process down enough for me to finally ALMOST get it right. I seem to be having the crappy black and white issue, but I am getting a PAL version of the game and am gonna retry to play it, hopefully it works.

@sales323 some of my games are not downloaded in PAL format, so if i forget to set it to play in PAL , they will be black and white. Simple fix; before you start the game, select game options and click "force PAL"...

I have USB Loader GX with an External Hard Drive, and my Wii's Disk reader broke, so i can't play CD games for my Wii, and i am gonna buy a new Wii Game, is there a possible way of extracting the new Wii game onto the computer, then placing it in the external hard drive?

@jag8906 don't think so. i heard a few people do it with flash drives. I did mine with an external because i loaded about 150GB of games..

@thetechdude7 Does the hard drive have to be formatted? I'm not sure if mine is formatted or not, but my family has a bunch of pictures on it and I don't want to erase them.

@GmonyZB - Yeah you have format the drive so that WBFS can read it. If you don't want to delete what you already have on it you can always partition the hard disk using partition magic..

@PoGixViRuS I was just reading on Wiihacks. That happens because you do not have a IOS needed to run the game, that's what you get a black screen.

@eddiedelville hey, i finally did the mod on the black wii and got the same problem. I had the external HD plugged in to the wrong USB port in the back of the wii. Try that and let me know if it solves it for u.

before I did part 1 I needed the highly recommended Sandisk 2gb SD card

and any SD card reader: $15 combined on amazon prime

backed up and did part 1

Erased part 1 on the SD card

replaced with part 2

Then followed thetechdude7's very detailed instructions for part 2

@alexcito25 I'm glad someone finally asked this question. This happened to be at first too. I'm not sure if it's a fix for everyone but what I did was, i made sure that before i started the game that i selected from USB Loader, i clicked on game options, then made sure the game was being "force play'ed" as PAL. Try that and let me know if it works.

@joelbroncos - I would imagine so. I don't use a USB drive for my games. I use a small 60GB external drive w/ about 20 games on it. As for transferring games over WIFI... i honestly don't know.

@joelbroncos You can find a used/refurbished external HDD online for about $25. I've actually purchased a few for that price at swap meets before. I'd recommend getting a bigger one (120GB) if you plan on having a lot of games... all hard drives are really cheap now.

@MegaSwebster Ehm, i Had a 4.3e wii, then i downloaded HBC, then I installed preloader and downgraded the Wii to 4.1e (Just coz on 4.1 you can do some wii system hacks like no background music on wii menu and auto press A on health and safety screen and stuff) So ye this works fine on 4.3e :)

Thank you so much, I finally got this thing working after following your guide. I guess it was because we have the same version or your guide is just plain awesome and simple to follow. I followed several different guides and couldn't get them to work and I was stuck on the IOS236 install part for about 4hours. I followed your guide and I finished around 30 mins. Now I just need to figure out how to use that WBFS manager and I'm all set. Thx again for this awesome vid!
