I'd understand if there's a limit to putting up how many contents in a game so that they have tu put all the rest as DLC. But seriously? Namco Bandai is overpricing all of them. Though honestly, I think the prices are actually related to how the AC is dying and the effort of bringing the game back up (the hard, ridiculously overpriced half-assed way). @Raso719 COD and Ace Combat are two different things you know. Ace Combat is not nearly as popular as COD. COD can go the way it is for the next 10 years and still reaps tons of money cause it has the name. Ace Combat however, needs a tactic to attract new customer, that's where Assault Horizon comes in.

I'm fine with either new or old gameplay though

@DarthRazac01 Series was dying because they took a Playstation exclusive franchise and decided to NOT release it on the platform where it had a pre-existing fanbase, and didn't bother marketing it much for the new audience. Then when they came back to the Playstation, they did so with a game which plays so differently it doesn't feel like part of the franchise those fans loved. The changes aren't necessarily bad, but they alienate the people who WOULD have kept the series alive if AC6 was on PS3

Honestly, everyone is forgetting something here. Ace Combat was about to be discontinued; I know that people already knew that. But they make AH in quite a short time. It was rushed, so it's obvious that it'll suck in the first place. Project ACES didn't have time to develop the story and the gameplay more.

Also, DLCs and game disks are not totally controllable by the developers/publishers. May I remind you that there might be a limit to a game having how much in-game features in the full gam

@BlazingAngelzzz I think most people are justified in expressing their anger. Many long time Ace Combat fans got the game expecting it to at lease still play like Ace Combat and at least be good. Namco/bandai turned their backs on their die hard and loyal fans of the series and they have the right to be pissed.

This failed attempted to sell out to the CoD crowd should be lambasted as the abomination it is. Ace Combat 6 even did really well sales wise so this change seems unnecessary.

i mean yea guys, we all want the old ace combat way of playing back, but this game is still pretty damn solid. Plus, the graphics are absolutely beautiful. The online gameplay is also very well created. If they put all the positives of this game into the original way of playing ace combat, as well as putting it back into the ace combat world for the single player, then it will easily be the best xbox flight game ever.

@MetalHindu comparing AC6 graphics to these, theres hardly a difference to be honest, unless you consider desaturation an improvement, which it isn't. Modern Warfare did the same thing through the course of its three games, and in the end the first still looks better than the last. AC6 graphics actually gave off a lot more detail environment wise, and the afterburner effect looked far better than this games. There really isn't any improvement graphic wise when compared to the previous game.

Yep... They've been doing it since Ace Combat 6. However though, I did purchase alot of those skins for ace combat 6 because the game was extremely enjoyable and I honestly had alot of fun with some of them (such as ones that had different colored smoke).

With ACAH, they aren't getting anythign else out of me. I already beat the game once, and it's pretty much going to sit on the shelf, collecting dust from now on.

I like this Ace Combat... while it's a different style than previous AC games, the cinematic experience is just awesome. Not sure about all this DLC, though... This assist mode might make things more cinematic but it's not you flying it's the game.

When I do my Ace Combat I want to be in control and I want to shoot down giant flying battleships because HAWX will never have giant flying battleships in a million years. Ace Warfare Modern Combat is a huge step in the wrong direction both for it's gameplay and for it's marketing.
