Even if I, (shuddering), accept the shoddy use of the popular "transitioned," Marin did not "eventually transitioned into being one of the most influential modern artists..." That would mean, dear art scholar, that he had been doing something else, and you do not say what that was, do you. (And didn't he abhor "artspeak?" Phooey with your "transitioned." That said -- this was an informative and interesting mini-lecture. Thank you.

This was a very informative video. Marin is my favorite artist and I hope to make it out to Chicago to see the show. I just saw the Weehawken sequence in new york and the small oils were terrific.
