  • Omg i prints in colour?

  • That's not creepy at all. Now I'm going to go get my security blanket and lock myself into this here bomb shelter for the next millennia, sobbing like a baby, but don't think anything of it. (I still have Internet access)

  • Excuse me, l have a question. ls it also possible to even create artificial bones with this printer? Let's say l were to need a bone transplant, and l would have a file that contains the structure of the bone that needs to be replaced, and l would send it to you, could your 3D printer print it for me?

  • that is cool would you be able to print a paintball gun?

  • Way cooler than a wax figure.

  • Im honestly a bit intimidated by this new tech. Just think of the ways people could abuse this! this amazing though

  • guys your work is awesome!!

  • I cannot believe we can finally transform virtual into reality, that is so amazing.

    I WANT A 3D PRINTER :C

  • can someone that disliked this idea please explain why?

  • can you download a 3d object from the internet then print it ?

  • @TheXxmad4everxx Yes you can, websites like turbosquid have plenty of models but may require editing as most are only made for rendering and animation, for printing the models must be closed.

  • Do u hav to scan everything? Or can u also print objects that u modeled using ur imagination with some software?

  • wonder if they could scan a skull from a crime scene and recreate the face for indentification as quicker than an artist adding clay? Also for prehistoric skulls.

  • Nice work. That lady looks so familiar...

  • I see this kind of technology used to create real human organs with bio synthetic materials. No more organ doners.

  • That Head Is Creepy...

  • The technology sounds pretty logical.

Nevertheless, it is amazing. Just try to come up with the idea.

    Beneficial stuff!

  • Yeah..the technology used in iron man 2 as well..now just embed a processor, a text to speech system and an AI engine to get an artificial emulation of the real human cognitive model..lol :D

@ 4jeremy9 - could be possible with a functional exoskeleton imbibed in the above model..mmmmm...not really.. ;)

  • Instead of paying $20,000 for a whole printer, can I send you my .obj file and have you print it out and ship it to me?

  • @presbarkeep Yes we could but there are many bureaus in the USA that can do that for you, we are in London so would be expensive.

  • the speed of technological production is concerning but still slow when compared to the human imagination... I like what the 3D printers can do, and it makes me wonder what the next step in printer advancements are to come...

  • I'd make some figures out of video game models with this. Hello, Half Life chess set.

  • wow! How do you print in color?!

  • lmao now just add in some metals and silicone and print out a T1000 :D

  • haha i was thinking the same thing xD

  • wow !!! How about scanning a whole human and printing it ?

  • @Xargosss yes we have already done it, there is an example on our main website.

  • Where one can see high quality photos of this or any other created object?

I can find plenty of videos but NEVER high quality of photo of final product?!?

How else one can see the quality of finalization?!

Any suggestion for good site or 3d printer people if you have to recommend are welcomed!

  • I have given that head away now but I will be printing more objects soon, I will see if I can record it in higher quality and upload it soon.

All of these models are printed hollow to keep cost of materials down.

  • @Rapido3d And so you can install hardware when you get the robot parts :D

  • How expensive is the material required for an average printed model?

  • WOW !

  • Things will really get interesting when the designs are downloadable, able to be altered/customized on your 'puter and printed out differently. Especially when pirating involves copying loot, and scammers sell homemade versions of stuff on Ebay!

  • 3d printers are going to be as common as normal printers in the future, Need something? let me buy it online and print it

  • More like let me download a pirated copy and print it :) This is like a primitive version of that star trek device that makes food for you. I think they called it a replicator.

  • yes I think so, maybe good for miniatures in film work too! I think we can do better with the colour image soon.

  • Fantastic work!! This is the future

  • Amazing. Its very realistic! so, this would be great for any Special effect, huh?
