@nogermsplease Hmmmm....not hearing that. It's a common drum and base you will hear in many songs. It's not like Billy Jean though. The time signature is diffreent too.

@werdy18 It's the same time signature - 4/4. It's also the same tempo, more or less... I am referring to the groove that starts at 0:18, yes? It's odd, perhaps it's just me, but I really think that it's almost identical, texture-wise...

@nogermsplease Yep.My bad. Not the same time signature (most are 4/4 unless your into Jazz, then a lot of 3/4). What I meant was tempo. However, the more I listen to it, I do hear it now a little. I hear many other chords and riffs that remind me of other musicians when I listen to Beck. I hear MJ in other songs too and I hear Zep here and there. Many times I think "this totally reminds me of so and so." I don't think he's ripping them off, I just think his musical influences show up.
