I use walnut oil which is generally available at grocery stores. I also use transparent base from Daniel Smith to loosen ink and make it more transparent.
You can try using a premixed wheat paste such as wallpaper paste. Just brush it on the back of the piece to be chine colled onto the print. Be sure that you do not get the paper to be chine colled overly saturated with the wet paste. Good luck.

I order the dry wheat paste from an art supply company such as Daniel Smith or Dick Blick.
