Not being cynical - but I do find that the young generation has queer tastes. Like Yuja Wang's mini tube dress that she wears in concerts, better suited for the beaches, really. And yet ;people kept calling her 'beautiful'. Well, admittedly Western eyes see beauty quite differently from Eastern eyes. In my Eastern eyes, Ms. Wang is generally 'fine', but without one jot of glamour, and zero stage presence. Nowhere near Anna Netrebko. Not even Sa Chen or Xiayin Wang (pianists).
