it was nessary because we would be forced to invade and 1,000,000 americans would estmated would of died including my grandfather who was joining the military but was let off the invasion unit when the bomb was dropped he would of been the first people to touch down in japan so i wouldnt be alive today if the bomb wasnt dropped and so would many others and and 5,000,000 japenese would have died .
the atom bomb is bad but the jap soilders were whores and they would fight till all their soldiers were killed they needed to learn when to quit the bad part is that the explosen was so big it killed other people that didn't hav any thing to do with the war but they didn't feel a thing unlike pearl harbor

He recognized the scope of that action, but he also told me that several of the islands had new hospitals, ready and waiting for the causalities expected from the invasion of Japan, whose citizens would also have given their lives.
