Watching you work, iʻm starting to think that the process of drawing - at least mentally - is very much like writing. Starting is hard, I dislike much of what I am writing, I get excited by small bits of what I am doing, and then I work on it. Interesting, thanks. p.s. That was a really good self-portrait !

@pehealaeponoai I think most creative pursuits have a tendency to work a bit like that. It's always hard to write the first few sentences of a new story or chapter for sure. I always tend to backspace/scribble out what I've written several times before I get anywhere haha. Same with drawing. The first few lines get erased several times =P

You look great, really you do. If you look hard enough you'll notice one foot is slightly larger, one hand slightly smaller and a nostril wider than the other. We're not made in perfect symetry of various aspects of ourselves. It's the way we are, and makes us who we are. You fare better than others, in that as I say, you look great. Myself, not so much, but I'm the only one who has to live with it. Take care and keep being great. Enjoy your day.

@meganlovegood I think it basically comes down to the fact that people are their own worst critics. Also, lately I've been trying to push myself to produce work of a higher standard, and I feel like I can usually do better than this. It's sort of a good thing though, because it means that I'm constantly trying to improve so I can be happy with the work =)
