  • Great....!!!!

  • Most underrated band ever

  • The audio on this video sucks. Collective Soul with GOOD audio sounds much better.

  • Are you people fucking kidding when you call this a great performance? Is he actually singing this in English? When he sings the higher parts, it sounds like a cat being raped by a donkey.

  • @jkq49 You, sir, have no taste. Thank you for being a troll. Why go onto a video that you don't like just to leave a comment that nobody needs to see? you want attention? Go do something worthwhile.

  • @spa00ner u have no life so shut up

  • @XXXJacka1XXX I have no life? Since when? Since a person I don't even know or care about told me? You really need to stop trolling. You have no idea who I am or how much of a life I have. Since I'm a human with a heartbeat and a working brain, I must have a life. Find something else to do, kid.

  • @jkq49 U madd?

  • windy lol

  • dean just as stoned as ever.

  • album version please

  • My cousin is Ed!!! and Dean!!!!! woo collective soul!

  • Two people missed the like button.

  • eewy i love this song but this sounds like shyt wat happend?

  • @poopenmire123: 1) Camcorders aren't designed with high-end audio recording components so the sound quality suffers. 2) In a live setting, the position of the mic (within the camcorder in this case) has a huge affect on what you hear - if you're standing in front of 1 speaker that's delivering guitar and vocal (and bass & drums) then that's what you hear 3) Frequencies, etc get blocked by the wall of people and the mic can only "grab" what is available 4) It's live.

  • @poopenmire123: Edit> 1) Camcorders aren't designed with high-end audio recording components so the sound quality suffers. 2) In a live setting, the position of the mic (within the camcorder in this case) has a huge affect on what you hear - if you're standing in front of 1 speaker that's delivering guitar and vocal (and very little bass & drums) then that's what you hear 3) Frequencies, etc get blocked by the wall of people and the mic can only "grab" what is available 4) It's live.

  • I loved their chord progressions...what happened to them?

  • @jimsi They have a different guitarist then they did when they wrote this and older songs. Although Ed (Lead Singer) is credited with writing most of their songs, Ross Childress (Original Guitarist) came up with alot of their hooks. The new guitarist is the one playing in this video however.

  • @jimsi Ross left the band, that's what happened to them. Their new guitarist is a decent composer and player, but Ross was integral to CS, and they'll never be the same.

  • Collective Soul should get more recognition than they get!!

  • Couldn't agree more, cant wait for the new album either.

  • yeah they should. they produced shine with atlantic records which they play on the radio. then they left atlantic shortly after and boom, tthere goes the radio connections and recognition

  • this was in niagara falls<3 home sweet home. i was there that night

  • i cant beleive he said screw live i like collective soul but live is much better easily

  • i just cant believe how good they are period screw live

  • i can barley hear the singers voice in this : / that kind of ruins the song after listening to the studio version. maybe he's getting to old to perform live

  • There's one way to listen to rock. That way is "loud".

  • ed's only 46. it's not like he's in his 60's or 70's and needs to give up like the rolling stones. he's awesome live. i think whoever posted this did a good job doing it. he sounds really good live. trust me.

  • Ya know this is a bootleg recorded with the mic thats on the camcorder? Those mics dont have the dynamic range it takes to record music at this volume and there is no downmix either.

  • This is one of my favorite songs by them but this is a pretty rough and chaotic live version. Yea the vibe of the song gets accross but Ed's really rushing the tempo alot. Must've been a bad day they didn't sound this rough when I saw em live in 2007. They Upstaged Better Than Ezra and Hootie & The Blowfish that day.

  • great perfomance. i could watch this one all day.

  • i can't believe how good they are live. too bad i missed them in summer of 2008 here in wisconsin.

  • The government is wasting all my energy!

    Cecilia

  • Dang I miss Ross but I still love Ed

  • HEAR THAT GIRL SCREAM! IT'S ME!!!!

  • Damn, you really love this band. I have been listening to these guys since I was 4, my parents are crazy for these guys. I want to see them live so bad. But they always go to Casinorama in Toronto, it would of been the house of blues. Casinorama has the 19+ rule, I'm under that... it sucks!

  • Okay people back to the music. Great band, great song. They're touring with Counting Crows, Live and Third Eye Blind this summer. Peace Out :)

  • They need to play this and "Where The River Flows" in concert more. Glad "Reunion" is getting more play time :)

  • I love that song!
