  • A SFC with no combat patch in the reserve? Snicker.

  • @Rileyroachable Reg doesnt state you have to wear you combat patch. I know plenty of people that dont.

  • @Rileyroachable I know alot of people don't wear combat patches unless they are in garrison. Especially when you don't want to get the only one you have dirty...

  • In basic, you learned to fear the yellow and blue vests. and hate AGRs.

  • @spealmann you need to do some pushups..

  • This should be a recruiting video. I am 60 years old and pumped up by this.

    HooYah!

  • Are desert boots standard issue then? I have been seeing them a lot in non desert theatres and was just curious?

  • @Badgerbitesback yeah, they havent used those black combat boots in a WHILE, theyre considered vintage, i still do hikes in them though with my ALICE pack haha, call me old fashion.

  • @Badgerbitesback yes the tan colored boots are standard issue with the ACU uniform

  • WTF. at 0:08 that was my Drill Seargeant. His name is Drill Sergeant Barnes.

  • Lol im all fruited up.....

  • lol justin2800....thats right..got my CCB. combat computer badge..

  • You maggots have been misinformed, to believe that there is honour and glory in killing your fellow man, do you understand me privates!? There is no glory, there is no honour, only shame in such actions and by god if you maggots don't understand this fundamental basic of human nature, then you have proven my point already. You are not a part of the human race but the product of something or another bestial mating with your respective mothers do I make myself clear privates!?

  • @AbtinX Dude, calm down. If I killed a rag head that was about to kill my buddy, i would be happy that I killed him, and he dident kill my buddy.

  • i went to ft. knox one winter.

recieved really bad and unorthodox training.

    we never pt'd

we did stupid, pointless smoking sessions.

    never learned shit...

and eventually got discharged along with alot

of us from the same tradoc company.

because all of us we're incompetent in alot of things we should had mastered

by AIT. Failure to Adapt my ass. Failure to train soldiers properly.

i wish it had never happened.

  • @lovestospoodge1 sounds like u went to relaxin jackson with me.

  • @lovestospoodge1 theres really no way to get failure to adapt as long as you personally want to stay in the army and are willing to work for it. No one gets to ait remembering everything they were taught in basic. Some people have a brain dump right after basic. But there is always an nco willing to fill in any missing gaps (even if its for the wrong reason). Don't give people the wrong idea about the army, am not saying your training wasn't crappy.

  • @lovestospoodge1 that means your drill sergeants failed you.

  • 1:07 - he has to get his fruit in him.

  • leave in august to fort benning to become the queen of battle

  • haha Drill Sgt Gatley. Would Kill Every one of these Drill Sgt , And send them home With PTSD.

  • DS Dailey should go to this, he is a bad mutha fucka

  • can't wait for basic!!! 20100706! hooah!

  • HELL YEAH the 1st drill sergeant you see in the video was my drill sergeant in basic

  • I'd expect to see my DS in this competition. Good ol' DS Jackson. He got Distinguished DS of the cycle when I was at Benning. He was one high speed DS

  • these are not DI's (Drill Instructors) they are Drill SERGEANTS!! please change the note in the description thank you. have a nice day

  • @willhodges1 They are, however, essentially the same. Just different uniforms. GO ARMY.

  • @willhodges1 AGREED!

  • @willhodges1 that aint right, they are both drill sgts and drill instructors, they are the same thing

  • @willhodges1 Drill Instructors are in the Marine Corp, but these are US Army Soldiers hence they are called Drill Sergeants so this is correct.

  • @willhodges1 quit bitchin

  • Hell yea Drill Sergeant Siler was my ds. You Aint Cav You Aint Shit

  • How are there still SSG and SFC drill sergeants without combat patches? I'd be embarrassed.

  • I have never seen a DS without combat patches but, all of my DS were Infantry...

However, I would give them the benefit of the doubt and just assume that all of the DS there without patches just didn't wear them to the competition.

  • @infantrypfc

There are quite a few out there. Even a few Infantry! It's sad, but true.

  • @1776iscoming

Depends. They may have been "lucky" and got MFO or IFOR/KFOR or Korea assignments that gave them great operational experience, without actually getting to earn a combat patch. I have a buddy with more deployment time than time home, and they have all been MFO, KFOR and one trip to Guana. No patch, yet he knows his stuff.

  • @1776iscoming ... Thats funny. Cause I,d be embarrassed to wear a combat patch just cause I went to Kuwait or UAE.. Let alone be a FOBBIT! Should change the name to deployment patch instead of combat patch. Save combat patch for those that actually see COMBAT!

  • @ladder4cman1

Call it whatever you want,no unit can function without the supply guys, weapons repairers, whatever. I've known people that put their DS packet in to escape deployments. I'd be embarrassed.

  • @ladder4cman1 as a mechanic, i've seen more combat than most people. not many people can say they were attacked while recovering a vehicle. not many people can say they used a saw on a bongo truck of insurgents.

  • @ladder4cman1 You need to know what your talkin about before you talk I bet your one of those guys in the Keyboard Corps.....NOT the US Army

  • Drill Sergeant Thompson was my Drill Sergeant in Jackson 06 DELTA Devil

  • haha 0:12 he was my DI at fort benning

    DS Barnes

  • Hahaha same here.

    1/349th?

  • 1/329 here

    D CO.

    graduated this summer.

    PFC Sadowski

  • Yeah, meant 1/329th.

    This is offenbacker haha.

    Fancy seeing you here. lol

  • Really because the army calls them Drill seargeants not drill instructors

  • wow..sorry if you look at the bottom you see DS Barnes....

  • If you look at the title it clearly says turnabout time for the DI

  • true did not notice that lol who ever put this in video has no clue. i was just saying that 1st ds is my basic DS Barnes.

been almsot a year no w lol at fort gordon active duty 25 Q

  • haha o yea so you took the easy way out and joined the army huh? lol jk. I jus graduated bootcamp for the marine corps in april. pretty crazy, just started soi.

  • i had the first DS at bct also hes bad ass and one of the best DS out there

  • DS Barnes?

  • i knew a DS Barnes at fort knox

  • yeah you guys are really "badass"

  • the first drill sergeant to be shown there was my DS in basic. most badass guy you'll ever meet, if you get the honor of meeting him.

  • chow formation!

    (yaw trick yaw)

  • Yaw trick yaw? Did you go to Ft. Jackson?

  • Hahaha yeah i remember that.

    DS Barnes was the shit

  • what is Yaw trick yaw? i am leaving for ft. jackson may 5th

  • it's a song by souljaboy. it supposedly what he says to people to get them out of his face.

    it's dumb, imo.

  • always forward Drill Sergeant 1/34 Hooah

  • i got a tear bead due to this outstanding video...but there is no crying in the US Army...no nix that ASAP!

  • Cant wait to join.
