curl your hair from the base to tip...clip the iron near your roots and twirl and release the clamp lightly as you are twirling. This process distributes the heat evenly throughout your curl and prevents you from frying the tips of your hair. Once you release the curl, let it cool down and bounce in your hands before dropping the curl, the cool down process helps hold curls longer. I love when people say "my hair won't hold curls at all", then I curl their hair and it stays all day =D

@chloe69224 No, I bought a can of Aussie hairspray before. I tried it and i hate it. It makes your hair super stiff and your curls fall anyway. And It made my scalp SOOO itchy like you wouldn't believe Dx. Use Loreal Paris or Garnier. Hope I helped!! :)

I never really knew how to make the curls go both ways out like that so I really like using the gun technique never really thought of it that way till watching your video. Superb vid! I have an iron like yours and a very thin Babyliss iron for curls but i usually use the second one to curl my hair better. In the beggining it's nice but after 3hrs approximately curls start to get flat.. The thing is that my hair is thin and straight and curls don't last long.. :( I always hairspray hair sections while curling hair. Can sb tell me what to do to have longlasting curls? Should i put some foam on it after washing it and curl it afterwards? Thanx in advance!!!
