@messi996 this here is a raid or siege on some dungeon or rift , and yes theres tactics , players usually setup raids in voice coms (vent , teamspeak) , they pick targets , where to go , etc so its pretty fun , this here i bet it had alot of players on a voice over net system so it can be pretty intense and fun , its usually a guild or clan thing not a ingame feature

It doesnt only do PvP good, it does questing good with all the cutscenes, it does PvP/Pve good with the effects, it does Raids good. and the main thing, you look really bad ass in your gear, even in low lvl! only lvl 38 still. but rising steadily towards the top dogs. 9/10 caus of the Places where there are so many ppl, and no channels. like Eltnen. We gianed access into the foyer and started into the main level... oh crap, they're all in here... fighting into the main room... they're pushing us back... stalemate at a bottleneck... they push through and kill the resters... run like hell, omg he rooted me, i'm dead... the end.
well lineage 2 sieges where huge too, it wasn't 40 vs 40 like wow is used too. it was more like 1000 vs 1000 people you had a option ctrl +p to minimize all grafics to absoluut lowest level, which reduced a huge amount of pc lag.
if u need them, first is from soundtrack from pirates from carribean, second song is from 2nd part of the matrix [ when they was riding on highway] , 3rd is famous requiem for a dream and 4th is prbably on of "Era" songs
Quality is bad probably because he/she don't want to set to good graphic when there's 200+ people spamming skill ;O I saw a zerg video with like 1,000+ people in small zone that you can't even see anything besides Red name on your whole screen.
just do your quests and try hard to get into groups that are doing the quests that need more then 1 person and you will lvl fast play with friends and family and it will speed like a boss :)
yea i completely agree. If at all possible always be in groups as it makes the game run so much smoother. the combat is so fun you'll hardly be bored.

I had an 8500 for closed beta 1 and 2 and it was very playable at 30-40 FPS. I upgraded to a 1 gig 250 for closed beta 3and it looks fantastic at 60-100 FPS.
you dont need a IMBA PC t oplay it :) i run it on my laptop and it looks fine :) even in the cites where many people standing and talking i got 70 fps : ) daoc is dead : / thats the reason im waiting for AION :)
A large amount of people on a screen isnt usually what would make a computer lag, maybe the server or internet, but not a computer, this only occurs if the game is single player for example, when there are alot of characters on screen using AI, the computer has to calculate hte Ai etc etc and thats what causes the lag.
Characters in Mmos have highly detailed textures, this is what causes the lag because your computer has to load each and every one of them plus the change in the models as they interact with the world.
Thats not lag though, its low FPS. There's a difference, the detail of hte characters doesnt make a difference to your internet connection, lag is a term used to describe a slow/choppy internet connection which isnt effected by the loading of textures. Thats your computer which is just a low FPS but not lag as its only your computer thats slowing the game down not the internet connection

Everyone makes a "prediction" it will be for certain not the 1st quarter. I know this from experience of producers saying when it will be "released". Most likely MID 2009. Hopefully that is.

I usually play with friendlies names off, and enemies with only the basic names, without guild titles or anything

I was in the Beta, I had all the graphics set on full, and even WoW minimized, and no lag. It all depends on your system.

just do your quests and try hard to get into groups that are doing the quests that need more then 1 person and you will lvl fast play with friends and family and it will speed like a boss :)

yea i completely agree. If at all possible always be in groups as it makes the game run so much smoother. the combat is so fun you'll hardly be bored.

There is a graphics option that kicks in in heavy populated areas and lowers the graphics on the crowd i think to keep performance high.

There is no grinding "problem", you actually have to kill stuff to level in Aion.

I had an 8500 for closed beta 1 and 2 and it was very playable at 30-40 FPS. I upgraded to a 1 gig 250 for closed beta 3and it looks fantastic at 60-100 FPS.

you dont need a IMBA PC t oplay it :) i run it on my laptop and it looks fine :) even in the cites where many people standing and talking i got 70 fps : ) daoc is dead : / thats the reason im waiting for AION :)

A large amount of people on a screen isnt usually what would make a computer lag, maybe the server or internet, but not a computer, this only occurs if the game is single player for example, when there are alot of characters on screen using AI, the computer has to calculate hte Ai etc etc and thats what causes the lag.

Characters in Mmos have highly detailed textures, this is what causes the lag because your computer has to load each and every one of them plus the change in the models as they interact with the world.

Thats not lag though, its low FPS. There's a difference, the detail of hte characters doesnt make a difference to your internet connection, lag is a term used to describe a slow/choppy internet connection which isnt effected by the loading of textures. Thats your computer which is just a low FPS but not lag as its only your computer thats slowing the game down not the internet connection

Sorry, I see your post was from almost 7 months ago. That song is called "Navaras" by a group called Juno Reactor. It's from the Matrix III soundtrack. It's actually a Hindu prayer, so yeah, it's got an Indian sound to it. Look it up on Youtube, it's an amazing song.

There WILL be a monthly fee. NCsoft (The games developer, and publisher) predicts it will be around the same cost a month as its other games, such as Lineage, Lineage II, Tabula Rasa, etc.

dont know if you knew that already but aion will be a bit cheaper then LA 2. But aion will have a 300 hours play limit a month, wiche is 10 hours a day. If you ask me its more then enough but i was people who tought it was 2 less XD. (If you dont understand somthing of my english just tell me^^)

heh :p still go to school so got lots of free time. And I go out aswell :p. Just hate sleeping. And hanging out with friends at night. So my average sleeping time is 2-4 hours. and the 18 hours might be a little to much :p let's say 15-16 :p

Everyone makes a "prediction" it will be for certain not the 1st quarter. I know this from experience of producers saying when it will be "released". Most likely MID 2009. Hopefully that is.

Ok i saw your video posters comment on you can toggle names off, but question, is there a toggle than "Only" toggles friendlies name off? because you obviously need to know who is your enemy. I usually play with friendlies names off, and enemies with only the basic names, without guild titles or anything

Heh, doesnt even seem like a seige, looks like a name text battle. Thats the only thing I hate, i would guarentee be turning off name text if i ever seiged. with games like WoW, and various others, name text aint a prob, this with this ammount of people, it looks rediculous, I couldnt even tell that you where in combat, looked like text humping text, I ma looking forward to Aion, but that just wasnt epic.
