@miles305678 I cant speak for the person that posted the video, but all i can say is that this song is EXTREMELY rare. If I could put a price tag on this video, I would say it is priceless. This song is even more rare because it is the full version not the cut one on the VHS which is the only way you will hear this song. The Dare to Dream CD has Desire on it but it sounds completely different. This one has multiple keyboard solos from Ming and Yanni and the CD does not

You're right, elysiantales - he doesn't write the music for the individual instruments like strings and brass but he did compose the core of the song and an arranger/orchestrator named Jeff Silverman came in and did the rest for the strings and brass. It's an amazing song!

Yanni actually ENCOURAGES his musicians to create their featured solos - even though they play the same solos at every concert, those solos were created by the players during the extensive weeks of rehearsals. Yanni records those rehearsals and plays them back to the musicians, helping them to piece together the best of their improvisations. Yanni composed the songs, but then opens them up to the virtuosity of the band members like Karen, Pedro, Ming, and the others.
