  • takeshi kitano its the best i love this movies

  • I'm glad they edited this scene. Looks too fake.

  • Now that is a BADASS SCENE.

  • Powerful scene... it got stuck in my mind and every single time I watch the movie, I always love how there isn't any sign of hesitation in Kato, he really means what he says when he says it. Really powerful.

  • ん?北野と寺嶋は親子杯、北野と加藤雅が兄弟になれば叔父になるからいいんではないかい。

  • @mickysimon

    「俺、兄貴には命賭けてるし」

  • kato was the nigga

  • i always admired the japanese code of honor,

  • Most Japanese are the most loyal people in this fucking planet. Unfortunately corrupt gay western values are infiltrating the minds of new generation Japanese making them less loyal. My advice to Japanese is that when it comes to clothing there is nothing wrong with wearing suits, but when it comes to moral be the great Japanese Moral people that you are.

  • I sometimes wonder Western people can understand our sense . This is easiest scene to know how we feel whole world. I'm immatured guy, but I know the difference how we feel when we see this movie.

This is not about Yakuza or way of man's life. This is how we feel the living world.

  • @mixi481 Well im one of the westerns who studies budo...so this scene is very powerful to me and I try very hard to understand the japanese mind and sense. I have lots of honor and loyalty so I understand this scene....many westerns don't have the same values though...but a few do

  • I was so shocked the first time i saw this. My own brother wouldnt slap a mosquito off my arm

  • Great scene thanks for the upload

  • i was in japane 90 days and i love thet country,ppl,coulture.....cant wait to go again

    respect from serbia japanes brother

  • 「頼むぜ オジキ」て凄い台詞だなあ

  • Should I buy this?

  • @LastShinobi01 RU STOOOOOPID BUY IT NAAAAAAOOOO!!!!!!

  • このシーン一番好き、俺にも命懸けれる兄貴分いるし。

    これが男ってモンでしょ!?

  • Better work on the timing of your squibs

  • Seen this guy in so many movies. Great actor!

  • i hope no one has to watch the censored version... this movie is insane, one of my favourite films of all time.

  • Susumu Terajima is a beast

  • Comment removed

  • shit, this is why i fucking respect the yakuza, mobsters are alright but come on! who amongst u would blast their brains off to seal a deal?

  • seeing this part of brother makes me want to watch the movie again the friendship that grows between takeshi and omars characters is very memorable

  • this is the first time im seeing this unrated version i got the american version and they edit the part he got shot fucking insane

  • yea thats crazy. I gotta get this version

  • man japanese people are so loyal over each other !!!

  • Fantastic movie.

  • 寺島さん最高!

  • very moving scene... shows much about mentality of the characters portrayed, and how america changed shirase.

  • Susumu Terajima is one of the greatest actor ever. He is nearly in every Kitano's movies.

  • かっけー

    Badass

  • 音楽邪魔

  • bra film om yakuza og om hordan dem har det i livet sitt.

  • Well there goes my favorite character ಠ_ಠ.

  • I think meaning this scene "The Way of the Samurai is found in death"

In yakuza's society and samurai's society, there is a common feature.

(But, I dont understand whether modern yakuza has samurai spirit.)

  • hata55 San :

Samurai culture was fertile ground for yakuza spirit.

And daimyo mentality obviously prefigured oyabun mentality.

In the final analysis, what do you expect from a civilization where a prominent value is this :

"all tricks are allowed for victory" ?

PARALLEL. About English people, they say this:

"Remove the gentleman's smoking suit, and underneath you find the blood-stained shirt of the pirate".

    The crisis showed :

    Keidanren = Oyabun Club.

You can trust only Jesus Christ.

  • it means that they dont care about dying, they only care abot their pride and honor, and loyalty. Death is not something to be afraid of or evade for these people.

  • i love this movie.... its my shit... Ore warui Yatstu da...

    l.

  • after watching this movie the next day i joined the local yakuza gang!

  • damn cant believe i just watched this without seeing the movie first

  • yeah, you should see it, then you will feel this scene more for him. he was a great guy in this movie, I was so shocked with his sacrifice.

  • good film! :)

  • this movie is awesome. love the part where some black guy is like "these japanese dudes aint shit, i kill motherfuckers like this everyday..." KABLOW! the dude shoots him and the other black guy looks like he's gonna shit his pants.

  • i loved that part too..then at the end that black kid that was gonna shit in his pants took a pill and died while on a payback mission to avenge shirase..hahaha that was funny as hell!

  • Great movie... and this scene is 1 of the hardest in it.

  • That's a real BROTHER!

  • dummest comment I have ever read. I think there are homosexual references in you, don't blame the movie bitch. He died for Aniki. He made me cry.

  • He says aniki dates women now, yes. But that doesn't mean aniki used to date men. That means, aniki didn't date women back in japan (obviously too busy for that) and in the US, aniki begun dating. That doesn't mean he is gay bitch. And what basement are you talking about. My mom died like 20 something years ago when I was in college. BITCH

  • Yakuza are known as gamblers, it's not just because they gamble, they take chances on their life for their business. This scene was about the old school Yakuza from Japan reminding the guys in L.A. what it really meant to be Yakuza. You're looking at this scene from a western perspective, lonious.

  • yakuza are some crazy ass gangstaz..from slicing open bellies to choppin off one's pinky to staking your life for your boss...man the loyalty and honor these crazy japs have

  • thinking in gay stuff when you´re watching a kitano movie... for god´s sake! you are gay and you even know?

  • lol

  • i think they were very secure, not like modern europeans and americans that must hold back in everything. their friendship was so deep... you normally wony experience such friendship, if you do you are extremely lucky.

  • I sense a gay vibe around you...

  • From this scene, you already know it was Kitano's.

  • dude i just bought this dvd at big lots for 3 dollars,,and i went to other big lots and its there to,,but is a great movie yall should check it out

  • Shirase is the man...even though he makes fun of the LT and his loyalty, he is still badasss

  • This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The scene at the end is magnificent. Definetely underrated.

  • yakuza a society? hmmm i would refer to them more to a criminal organization which has its roots from feudal days in japan

  • it is just a movie.

  • my comment was in response to pancamoxxl last line

  • 任侠道

  • what a physco this movie just so crazy the things they do just over loyalty and respect

  • 頼むぜ オジ貴

  • Kitano rules. There is more from Brother on my profile if you want to see.

  • he did it because he felt he owed his boss

  • awesome

  • this guy just found a excuse to wack himself

  • shaddup

  • "Tanu-ze Ozegi"

  • That is actually "Tanomu-ze ojiki" in Japanese

  • domo arrigato for correction

  • domo arigatogosaimashite

  • after seeing this film i bought all kitano films.......the man rocks

  • whoever uploaded this file. thanks .. ur so cool.. :)

  • Those two guys were like "Oh shit. He actually did it."

  • this is an incredible movie!!!!i love it!!!!

  • Wow! It looks real to me! :D

  • Eww. My screen is soiled...eww... [barf]

  • this guy just found a excuse to wack himself

  • this is one of the best film i've ever seen, against the alaways american hip hop trendy "mafia/gangsters" shit!!!!good takeshi kitano!!!!

  • Wow! Now I have to see the uncut version of this film!

  • Sad scene the guy dint think he'd do it

  • The best scene in brother...

  • woaa!!! i have this movie on dvd but its the less explicit version i guess cuz in mine it doesnt show the gragic brains on the wall part...it jus makes the gun sound then shows him dead

  • This film was good but it focused more on the sadistic violence than storyline.

I can handle violence of any sort but as long as there's more storyline.

  • Forget tarantino, here comes Kitano!!!

  • Just another Kitano masterpiece

  • milujem tento film a masaya kato

  • bang

I'd like to see this one, though it's supposedly a lot less subtle than some of Kitano's other gangster movies. At least you can always count on the great soundtrack by Hisaishi.

  • So, what did you think people about this? Did you have such power inside to improve your serve to Brother?

  • man if anyone likes gangsta movies, this is the movie to watch.

  • u stupid ass wut do think brother is about? a japanese immigrant? lolz i don't dis agree with u i love scorsese work! goodfellas is one of my fav move..

  • man...u are more stupid than this 2 guys...brother is the story of one yakuza bodyguard who is being exilated in America...here he has a step brother , he is fearless , he confronts all the chiefs in the city and because of a foolish ideea he loses all...this is not a gangsta movie..where do u see negros or mexicans ...its only about yakuza..yakuza is not a gang , band..etc..yakuza its a society...a familly...

  • u stupid anyway! look at wutt i wrote..."if anyone lies gangsta movies this is the movie to watch" i didn't say this was the ultimate movie...unlike u i got a life im not gonna sit here and argue with u!

  • lol ur already argueing.I think that saying "this is the movie to watch" is pretty much a suggestion of the ultimate choice. If ppl get u misunderstanded in talkbacks it dosnt mean u should start a fight/argue/trashing u name it.shame we could had a nice chat on gengsta films now u blew it.I liked Brother it has an intense ending but its constract is pretty simple.gosh u ppl drw out the fun of talkbacks.specialy thos who argue with themselves.

  • ok guy..don't u have a star war convention to go to or sumthin? fucking nerd! i bet ur still a virgin huh? get a life dude!

  • awesome movie

  • I love the music in this scene. This movie has a great soundtrack. Joe Hisaishi is the man.

  • that's real yakuza shhit
