  • and i finialy find this part of the film that i can actually watch for my theater project and you just had to play a freaking song. thank you sir -.-

  • Well thank you Douglas, I consider you an expert so humble with your kindness.

  • What a film! The two most beautiful people in the world and a Tennessee Williams script! We will never forget such beauty and such talent. And now they're both gone.

  • very very sad. The world lost the most beautiful woman of all time today. There will never be another Elizabeth Taylor again

  • Rest In Peace Dame Elizabeth....A great beauty...Amazing talent....Above all, a wonderful human being and to the end a class act. Her films will live on forever, but the likes of her shall not be seen again.

  • R.I.P ELIZABETH TAYLOR!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

  • Rest In Peace, Liz Taylor.

  • @khamir49 Amen.

  • d.e.p.

  • RIP Elizabeth Taylor

  • my fav. american actress Liz taylor, audrey, katherine hepburn, they r soo beautiful and fabulous they are the epitome of elegance, awsome acting.

  • @JuanMacready...G0 Fuck Yourself Man & get a fuckinq life y0u SICK FuCK. Michael Jackson was THE Greatest Entertainer that EVer Lived ,whereas LIZ Was the M0ST Beautiful woman to Grace Earth ST0P Hatinq and G0 Wash ur ASS I C0uld Smell ur SHIT 4rom Here .

  • Actually Mike Todd died during filming not before it mike died March 22nd 1958 and filming had started March 6th it was Paul that had gone through tragedy before filming in the form of Joanne miscarrying their first child though by 65 they had three daughters Liz does look great in that slip for someone who by then was a mother of three the youngest of whom wasn't yet a year old

  • Nat'l Velvet I liked but I bet she is greater with horses than I see. She loves me even if I am a a total snob. She gets it when I revolt against my own Elizabethians & identifies with how I have been abused by family. She knows I need no enemies I have family adversity that speaks for miles...

  • Don't think incest is gross a few hundred years or thousand (yeah immortality exists) its about love, torture & sexuality....religion or magik! England is now inbred cause its lines are moving out away from it. It is withheld from global royal blood temperarily or perhaps indefinately. We all have dissidents in our family tree ALL of us!

  • Total Jewess maybe a bit of Egyptian..chase that lil Roman boy out! Outrageous! But you fall Neuman's eyes & can he deny his Roman Italiano hereitage? I think NOT....plus he has a bit of Jew in him I think!

  • PS. I like this better than Nat'l Velvet & Cleopatra combined...Wowza that says so much. Especially for the simplicity of the film. I like this film better than that pool huster film with Tom Cruise even!

  • Have you seen the original 1961 Hustler?an amazing film

    lichnother1

  • I guess then now you all realize why in that movie when a reporter wanted to do a book on Great Britians Royal Family they were told emphatically you won't get an interview with the Queen. I suggest you write a book about Marilyn Monroe. Lets face it England went from the British Empire to Great Britian that lost quite a bit of territory. Its been harsh on us all. I am amazed at what is still alive & grateful of that. For what? Do the masses even care?? If so God bless & let us hear from you!

  • . I tried God knows how hard I tried to warn Buckingham to tell them. No one cared. At times I hated the fact I had been born because it was a life everyone was jealous of & noone had the torture of living but myself alone. Such a horrible feud my father & mother were on opposite sides of the battlefield.

  • I don't fully blame Buckingham's umm so called reigning family. I must however be skeptical about that! Its just that I at times wished I could escape the abuse of this world. Many times I fought just to stay alive, I've seen it all, done it all & had it all done to me

  • Kill yourself.

  • If Elizabeth Taylor is related to Queen Elizabeth II then I can see the friction. Cause Queen Elizabeth II although we loved her at times we hated her as well. She was oblivious of the fact she was a

(HOG) nothing to do with weight. Killing all of the front lines & the world was falling apart. I have in fact watched ppl I love die in front of me in a battle of bad blood conflict.

  • *there typo sorry. They said Monroe couldn't act. Well I enjoyed some of her performances but see how she could type cast & empathize for that frustration. Once my father pointed out that Monroe's arms were a bit heavy in a movie so I realized she wasn't perfect. The fact is both of these ladies graced the silver screen! Is it a problem that these ladies fought like a married couple? They did love each other..so its funny. ha ha

  • Who wants to be an ugly titless woman anyway? It costs a lot in plastic surgery. When a pretty woman will spend to lose weight but give what God gave her naturally. The thing is it gives a bit of hope to us all. Some ugly girl is gonna read this & cry & maybe you & I would think she is a beauty. Perception folks. America's Biggest Loser? They are trying...not a real loser their except in weight. Many other challenges. Bless & support the ppl around you there is enough cruelness in the world!

  • Oh I am really really bad because I didn't mention Paul Newman. When I was a lil girl I had this serious talk with him. Where I wanted him to do some charity work. He had made the salad dressing & it was really good. He wasn't living in some mansion either but a modest place I think I've seen it on camera. Anyway I think I told him he should sell them & donate some profits for charitable cause. Plus his wife & he were a couple really in love & so lovely to watch!!! Great actor too..

  • For the record I can EASILY pass for Monroe's daughter. At about 36 understress I got a bit heavy & am a bit ashamed at how round my face was. Look pretty ppl aren't always happy either & can benefit from "Fat ppl". Obesity is an issue yeah. You know I remember my mother saying, " Isn't that Elizabeth Taylor over there?" I would always turn to see her & a big smile would come across my face. Always.

  • Gordon1027-Liz and Marilyn had an organized cat fight to stay in the press. Marilyn loved Taylor but she would honestly say, " Liz has a tendency to over act." I don't know if it was of jealous because Liz had less sex pot roles & more sustaining roles or if its true after I see both of their movies. So she got fat..

Fat ppl are real & can be nice. They by the movie tickets & dvd's.

  • face a fact: Your a pig

  • face facts: at 36 years of age, year 1968, Elizabeth became an obnoxious pig. see the pictures for yourself. she lost any form of discipline and ate her way up to the tips of the scales.

Marilyn at 36, year 1962, was slim and slender. sadly death took her.

as for this movie, she looked 35 rather than 26. but still gorgeous, i must admit.

she aged fast, and she bloated fast after this movie.

  • She really looked great about 45 years after Cat On a Hot Tin Roof. Remember her live appearances promoting White Diamonds perfume. She's known internationally for her beauty, with which she captured audiences early on in her youth and has kept the world hooked on ever since. She's won the Oscar twice and she's earned her place in and out of the sun.

  • She looks old? I guess you missed the fact that she's drop dead gorgeous. Your negative...guess that's in your genes.

  • @DonLouiVer

Probably didn't help that her husband died in a plane crash right before filming started on this film.

  • I don't think Liz looked older than 26...in fact, losing so much weight after Todd's death, gave her a younger look. She kinda always looked the same, for years, the only difference would be her weight. She had a mature face at age 12! Also, she'd been a mother three times by "Cat"--looking pretty damn good in that slip!

Marilyn's looks also dimmed a bit later, with her own weight and substance issues--tho at the end, in '61-62, MM looked great again.

  • Maybe it's because she began very early? However, after she played with Montgomery Clift she really learned to act (these are her words or what they mean, if i remember well). So, i would say that her way of acting -instead- was mature, very conscious.

Mrs Taylor, moreover, had, i read here - on the right - personal pain in that moment.

Be careful, DonLouiVer, when you talk about trickier moments. M.Clift had a premature ageing syndrome, not Dame Elizabeth. But pain. They both.

    (i'm very sorry)

  • - english is not my mother language, i hope it was not so awful -

  • This is an amazing movie. Elizabeth is so beautiful (no woman today could measure up). And Paul Newman (although his character is frustrating) is so irressistable.

  • One of my top 10 movie greats---one that I wouldn't mind watching once a month.

  • No, I don't blieve there is Ladybyron.

  • Was there ever a woman more beautiful than Elizabeth Taylor

  • @Ladybyron100

Paul Newman is far more beautiful than her

  • @nayita85 haha, as a straight guy, im gonna have to agree. i never was a attracted to her. iono, she kinda had that old lady hair...and not the best face. hmm

  • @Ladybyron100 Grace Kelly

  • whats the name of the first song

  • Do Wah Diddy Diddy"

  • both of them are fabulous in this but it was an emotionally diffcult shoot for both of them Mike Todd died in a plane crash during production and with Paul he'd had to leave his honeymoon after Joanne had miscarried their first child to comeback and film so it taxed both Paul & Liz emotionally and physically to do the movie but it came out beautifully

  • IMDb has Rusty Stevens, aka Larry Mondello of "Leave It To Beaver", mentioned as Sonny Pollit, and uncredited in this movie. He also did a lot more tv appearances in the '50s and '60s. I didn't know it would be that easy to find out. I should have checked sooner.

  • Great clips and music! Was Rusty Stevens one of the no neck monsters? Liz was never more foxy.

  • Thank you. Rusty Stevens?? I really don't know.

  • is this Richard Burton?

i was watching this movie 4 days ago for the first time. were they together already in this movie? he is sooooo hot!!!!,

did they end up staying together for ever??

can someone tell me please???? :)

  • it's paul newman not richard burton.

  • Great job, watching this makes me want to watch this movie. :)

lol at the part when he sings "we're so happy. I'm hurt, she's mad" or something like that. The way you matched up the lyrics and videoclips made it sort of funny. :)

  • you should watch it i was watching it the other day and i only watch half to hte end but its pretty good i think i am going to watch the whole thing , is the guy richard burton? were they together in this movie already??

    he is sooo hot!!!

  • Hi Molly,

No the guy in this movie is not Richard Burton. It's Paul Newman. Elizabeth filmed this movie in 1958 and she fell in love with Richard Burton on the set of Cleopatra in 1962. I hope that answers your questions...

  • the movie's brill!! definitely recommend it to people!!

  • Thanks, just watched it the other week. I loved it. :)

It mixed drama and humor successfully and it had brilliant acting too!

Makes me a bit sad to think that Paul newman is gone now... :(

  • I loved the video Richard.

    Liz is a beautiful woman

    inside and out. :)
