  • Hey, I have the #1+, I'll have to get out my omnigram cassette and do the bunny, I haven't tried it in many, many years. I got this machine way back when it first came out and I used to do the bunny on my kids clothes. My kids are all grown now and don't want bunnies on their clothes. Were you having trouble with that one? Are you going to upgrade to the new top of the line Viking? I looked at it but don't think it's worth the ridiculous price tag.

  • @tuffydoodle I've had pretty good luck w/the bunny. You can see in the promo video that their Omnigram bunny is not the greatest (stitching on the right side of the bunny tummy does not meet). When #1 & #1+ machines would come in for service, that was the ultimate test. On the #1+ you can embroider a perfect bunny when the embroidery unit is attached and you select the bunny from cassette L. I'm not interested in upgrading. The machines are too big!

  • @tuffydoodle One of the new ones won't fit into my sewing cabinet. The embroidery units are huge and I don't know where I would store everything, either. I also prefer the front-loading bobbin to the drop-in and I like a manual presser foot lift lever. The one thing that I do like on the new machines is the lighting. I can never get enough light when I sew. The new ones have such incredible lighting; it really makes a difference esp. when sewing dark cloth. My #1+ will stay my #1
