I can understand why Tom is crying while he is singing this song. He's been hurt, and he's still hurting.. he probably feels quite alone. He left Blink to start something new, something heart-lifting that provides hope to the hopeless.. yet the world still turns the other way and sees him as nothing but a complete, worthless idiot. He's been trying to staying strong through all of this, but there's only so much one person can carry before they break.
