Whilst I stand to be corrected it sounds like Japanese to me rather than Korean - Miss Ito would not be a Korean name anyway - and the characters on the comic are Japanese - not Korean which looks much rounded in its characters - water in Japanese is Mizu hence the fake university name - of course I believe its been made in the Uk anyway as a pastiche on the whole thing
