I saw this one at First Ave, there was BLOOD during this song. They are a bit over the top for this version--can't even tell how the song was supposed to go, but what a great tune, man.
The Suburbs did this, Magnolias did it--they were amazing, great--and they had to break up because they were good, but couldn't make livings from doing it. Am I wrong? This band just RULED. Funny, rocking, creative, always doing something new. First time I saw them--at the Entry, Ryan says, "Laugh all you want, but we're gonna rock you." It was true.
I lived in MPLS from 1999 to 2005. Loved seeing/hearing these lads! So sad they had to split!
