Awesone video. I have been researching my father who was a navigator from that same base in Nov/Dec 42 and actually flew missions on 2 of the dates shown in the filming. I checked to see if I saw his aircraft was there either by name or tail number, but no. Anyway it was quite nice to see them in the air. Thanks so much for posting.
Thanks for the video. My father was an engineer/top turret gunner on a "Fort" with the 368th in England. Vids like this kind of help me put myself in his place for a few minutes. Hats off to these brave pilots and air crews. Cheers!
Great video. Back to a time when Americans were patriotic, and the women in music could actually sing. My Uncle just passed last year. He was a mechanic and worked on B-17's. He maintained the 50's.... He told me a story once about how they wanted to see how long a 50 cal would shoot before it failed. He said he shot for 2 minutes straight, and the barrels turned cherry red and started bending downard. It was still shooting, but not very straight. I miss him. Thanks for the video.

@dees75 watch for The Collings Foundation to bring theirs somewhere near you. Pay for a ride. It's worth the price, whatever the price.

What are the music pieces? The first, in particular, would be great for our swing dances.

Great film.
I started my film and documentary career learning with the same Filmo 16mm camera this movie was shot with. I miss those days.
