I have a problem. I just bought an emachines E525 laptop from walmart. After just 3 days of use my harddrive will run between 50 and 60 degrees celsius and won't cool back down. i have tried putting it in front of my box fan and even a small 1 bedroom aircondictioner and it still will get up there and it has yet to not freeze up on me. Is there a fix or do i need another haddrive? It's a WDC WD2500BEVT-22A23T0 ATA Device harddrive.

I have a problem, I have an Hp Dv2829se notebook. Whenever I decide to play games or run certain applications the bottem left side where the Hard Drive is located heats up, then I have lagging problems and other crap. Is there a way for me too keep it cool while gaming? i currently have the HD cover off.

p.s I also tried using a cooling pad but im not receiving the results im looking for.

i have a question, my pc constantly freezes after a day of playing games like crysis on max and fallout 3 on max high powered games my pc usaully last a good 13 hours then it freezes i have my side panel off but it still freezes i can deal with the daily 1-2 time freeze but will this mess up my computer??

Hmm wondering If my drive is fucked up aswell! My pc Isnt freezing alot when Im not playing games but on even the oldest games im playing the pc can freeze. Iv bought new Mother board, Pros, and fan so that is not the prob. I have no idea what the problem is but it is either Overheat, Drive is broke or a bad network

If or when you have time, could you make a video on how to place an internal drive in an enclosure for external back up? Internal drives are a lot less expensive than external. I would like to purchase a 500GB internal drive and load up all my music CD's(approx 1,500 CD's).
