And then, this is not against the spirit of sport? In GB, rhythmic gymnastics is in its infancy, is to grow, but if and when they do not even start?

This is a really solid routine considering GBR has next to no history in the groups discipline and these gymnasts only trained together for a limited time. While the music isn't to my taste, it suits the choreography (and vice-versa), and the gymnasts' strengths are highlighted. Such a shame they missed out on competing in their own Olympics. They deserved to.

In reference to those who may be looking at it from a difficultly aspect that I know nothing about, this does not matter as EVERY COUNTRY has a right to be represented at what ever level they are at! And yes it is a bit unfair to put a routine with a lower difficulty in it, but I think the host country should get a chance to compete of they want to, like to see what it is like. Another thing, you hardly ever see really happy routines do you? That is why I like this one :)
@strengthofwill I completely agree! I mean they may not be as high a level as say, Russia, but they deserve a go. To be honest, that is the most fun I have ever seen a group have! They look like they were enjoying themselves and that is what matters. I think the routine is really creative too :)

I don't understand the comments knocking them down though...obviously they aren't the level we're used to but the host country always gets a try...so why are you guys so surprised that they're participating. Saying that it isn't worth watching is detrimental to the development of the sport in their country.
