Do some research dippo...Flank straps do not harm the animal... They make dont' even make it buck... The Flank straps make the animal kick out straighter and make a 'prettier' more exciting ride...Also it doesn't touch the genitalia for the animal, either male or female.

nope ... flank straps well the name says it .... goes around the flanks ... loose enough to make the animal think it can just be shaken off... tight enough so it wont actually come loose when bucking .. once the bull goes into a more confined area the flank strap is removed. and the bull rope usually simply falls off
