see now i heard that squirrel calls actually mimik the calls they make when they bark to allert others that there is danger and to get into the trees and dont move.... ben looking into this because so far in this early fall season we have came across alot of squirrels on the ground but can not get them to stay still long enough to get a shot on them, since we hunt with a .22 more of a challenge and more fun rather than blasting them with a 12 or 20 gauge
