I don't get Football in the US you go to university to study something while learning play football then sign pro when you finish university but the earliest you finish is age 21 by that time you could have been footballer for 3 yrs. They should do what the rest of the World does club associated academies. They can train players from as young as age 11 giving them 6 yrs to train them. @mikethequeenfan yh but the fact their members of a fan club means nothing, when i say organized i don't mean they order a shirt/jersey from a website and can chat on the fan clubs form, organized in my books and the books of european hooligans is getting a phone number of an opposing hooligan firms (hooligan gang) leader and callin them to arange a fight with your firm (hooligan gang) or geting a group of fans to gether outside of a stadium to attack opposing fans thats the organization i mean.

@mikethequeenfan new!! i have been going to every Leeds match between the age of 4 and when i got my banning order for being in 2 hot spots in consecutive occasutions (shitty west yorkshire police) anyway mabye they do but thats american fighting, fighting coz say you see a opossing fan it's in the heat of the moment fighting, english hooligans phone other firms up and arrange to fight at say a certain place with a certain amount of members. they may no days before americans don't do that.

Listen dude. I'm half Mexican myself. My mom's from Chile. I was born in Miami. We all support US soccer. But my dad's going to support Mexico no matter what. My mom is going to support Chile no matter what. I support the three and hope they all do well. Just because we support the "homeland" team doesn't mean we don't support the US national team either. It's not an either/or proposition. We live here in the States. We count our blessings. Don't think that we're all anti-American ingrates!

But also don't tell us that we can't love the home country as well. I am fortunate to have parents from two different countries to live in the one area of the States where the Latinos aren't majority Mexican. I don't have that ultranationalism that some may have. But I also resent the creeping anti-Mexican sentiment that is going beyond a football rivalry. I know there are Mexicans who add fuel to the fire. But don't say that we can't be proud of both the US and the country of our ancestry.

i actually wouldnt be surprised. england is so deep in talent and by far have the strongest league in the world from the EPL. they are one of my favorites to win it all and one of my favorite teams to watch, after my u.s. national team (i must stay loyal).
i doubt the u.s. are capable of beatin england in 2010 if they faced off, im just sayin in the near future it will be possible. my generation exploited the sport in this country so much.
