The anime that was sent to North America during the early 90's to mid 2000's was usually cut to death, with character names and roles all changed up, and usually some 3rd rate garage band rocker re-doing the intro with some crappy lyrics that tried to summarize the story. I suppose it was the "growing pains" era that North America went through, before maturing in the eastern animation culture.

Catalan is the native language but both catalan and spanish are official there, and most of the people speak both languages perfectly. Huh. I was kinda assumming you would overlap several different language versions of the opening, and play them all simultaneously; not taking turns. As for the taking turns, Greek and Catalin were not that good, the last Spanish was meh, but everything else sounded good. Of course, Japanese and English was good, Latin Spanish was surprisingly not bad either, but when I heard the brazillian version, I so pictured Luffy being the one singing.

the BEST: Japanese
