This is a hydrogen fuel cell car that runs on hydrogen. However, claims that car than runs on salt water are scams. You should not electrolysis sea water to get hydrogen because, salt water also produces poisonous chlorine gas. You should only electrolysis fresh or distilled water and not sea water. Electrolysis water uses tremendous amount of electrity. Hydrogen gas that escaped into the atomosphere is not good for the ozone layer because, H2+O3 -> H20+O2.

The technology to be running on water is easy and affordable. So what GM is doing here is showing a sophisticated contrapshun and millions of dollars spent of our money to make this over done car. They had to show something for spending millions of dollars of our money, so why not show this? It would be to their own condemnation to show a much simpler and easy mechanism that already exist, in so doing it might put them out of business or a lost of huge profits.

How can this run on sea water when in fact it is sea water converted to hydrogen. Another word the car runs on hydrogen, not sea water. producing and storing hydrogen is not cheap.

Salt water when put with radio waves produces alot of hydrogen and quickly. Store it as sea water, combust it in the engine.
