"I don't know how ... such evidence can be denied..."
Er, what evidence? The evidence of the video is that despite the fact that In the last 50 years over 100 million people have passed through Lourdes in the hope of something miraculous happening, not a single one of the 500 cases they have actually investigated has been proved. Not a single one.
Niemand gaat voor de wonderen. Hetgeen wat je aan bagage in Lourdes verkrijgt is al meer wat je kunt verlangen. Deze ervaringen zijn de wonderen die iedereen kan ervaren. Sta open en ontvang Maria.. Ron
In Lourdes gebeuren dagelijks wonderen! Maar eenieder die hier heen gaat verwacht niet een wonder of genezing! Je bent kort bij maria gezamelijk met duizenden andere. Was de wereld maar zoals binnen de heiligdommen, dan was de vrede van Christus echt! Geweldig! Ron
Catherine Latapia's arm was paralyzed, actually it wasn't ever he arm, her forearm, her ulnar nerve was damaged..also known as the funny bone....this happens commonly during pregnancy due to the fact that many women sleep on their arms.
she was pregnant. this type of pain goes away as you near the end of your pregnancy...she was 9 months.
-10 of every 50 are researched, i wonder how they choose out those specific "miracles"
- 10 fucking years!? it can take up to 10 years for the miracle to happen!??! abahahahahhahahaha god, this is a joke. later in the video he says the miracle must in instantaneous.
-"people take effort, time and money to come here" the first miracle was in 1858, i'm gonna take a guess of... easily topping almost a million people who've visited the church, only 8000~ have been claims and very few are.
@Muusicca obviously no one is convcing you that this is a miracle and likewise you aren't convincing anyone that its a sham. To many of us Catholics the uncorrectable body of St. Bernadette and the the hundreds of miracles which have occurred since the apparition of our lady are evidence enough of the divine intervention which have occurred. Atheists and Anti-Catholic skeptics will ALWAYS do their best to disprove any miracle done by God this is nothing new.
@acadamenorth the video's purpose is along those lines...
I'm not trying to convince anyone instantly, just giving them something to think about.
"to many of us catholics the uncorrectable body of st. b " what? reword that please.
theres a difference between evidence and proof. we will not always do our best, thats an absurd generalization, many of us fine it more than a waste of time doing our best to try to convince just arrogant and ignorant people. i'm not trying to start something new.
@Muusicca sorry I meant "incorruptible" this is in reference to another miracle related to Lourdes. St. Bernadette, whom Catholics believe saw the virgin Mary, died over a century ago and her body never decomposed or showed signs of it and it was never embalmed. There are over 4 dozen other saints which have had similar circumstances after their bodies were exhumed.
@Muusicca I understand what you are probably thinking, that like Lenin's preserved body the church every night brings her body into a freezer and they pay millions of dollars a year to have her body secretly preserved....and they must do that for all of the saints witch incorruptible bodies...and they hire one of the worlds few scientists that can do this without anyone knowing...this must be what your thinking.
@acadamenorth i looked into it, cool stuff, but i'll find its faults...the 'mummy' which is actually in the chapel of the motherhouse of the Sisters of Charity of Nevers,in France has her nails polished....unless 122 years ago, not 200 ,nail polishing was a popular thing, they've done some adjustments to her body, many actually, setting aside the fact she is air tight. her face is a waxed mask. what the original corpse actually looked like when found is only described unfortunately.
@Muusicca to my knowledge there is no wax mask for Bernadette, when they found her they did things like shine her nails and change her clothing for adequate presentation. Is it just a coincidence that similar miraculous events have occurred surrounding Saint John Vianney and many other saints? for these to be recognized as miracles in the church their bodies were analyzed by secular biologists who could not explain this phenomenon.
@acadamenorth Yes, its obvious. I tried, Fuk me right? hundreds? barely. there's a difference between evidence and proof. I don't do my best to try to make you think otherwise, but I do try, please don't make it sound like such a bad thing because through my eyes I'm doing right trying to make you let go of this belief because Independence if worth a lot to me, so is my IQ.
It makes me sick with all these so-called Catholics trying to "prove" a miracle! If God wants us to have FAITH, we shouldn't need to PROVE his miracles! This is NOT TRUE Christianity! This is NOT what GOD wants! I stand up for Bernadette who is looking down right now with tears. She knows when God performed a miracle and when he didn't. We shouldn't waste all that money going to a hundred doctors to see if people have really been cured. We could use that money to find cures! :P
@Muusicca If you're so annoyed it's your own fault. You expect to tell us that this is bogus and have us not fight back? Besides, what are you even doing here when you don't believe in this? Let me get this straight, you go to videos you don't believe in, start fights, and then complain that we're giving it all we've got? Someone would have to be mad to have this logic.
lol at the cripples hoping that this Miracle is going to heal them.
Well no it wont do jackshit because theyre crippledness was either a birth defect or an ireversible injury/disease if god was going to heal you youd be out of the cripple chair already mindless sheap believing this shite
Religion,Money and Politics the true evils of the world
hahahahahahaha fucking miracles my arse its all just a load of shite wow look the painting is crying oil then all the mindless sheep flock to it rattling there beads and splashing salt water about the place lol just lol at this shite
With about 85,000 sick per year for the last century and a half, you'd expect more than 0.0000005% being miraculously cured. I've reviewed as many individual cases as I could find and, to no surprise, they all were afflictions that had the potential to heal on their own anyway.
What you call "evidence" is no more than stretching a very small number of recoveries and labelling them a "miracle." Please, think for yourself and do your own research rather than blindly following.
@TheEcumenator There's a difference between "blindness" and "incurable blindness." The same follows for paralysis and deafness.
The noteworthy thing is that the medical committee decides by way of a vote whether to declare or refuse to confirm that this cure is inexplicable according to present scientific knowledge. Since there was a growth of scientific medical knowledge, it's no surprise that there hasn't been an acclaimed miracle since the 1950's.
"I don't know how ... such evidence can be denied..."

Anyone who thinks that it's only a miracle if it goes through that whole process and can't be disproven is crazy!
