Oh, so now maturity comes before puberty? So, what you're implying is that a nine year old girl has good judgement? Most nine year old girls havn't started dating yet. Marriage is a bond between two people that represents their love for eachother. Aisha may have looked up to Muhammad like a fatherly figure, but not as a lover. It's just as bad as incest. There is a time in life for growing, then there's a time for adulthood. You shouldn't mix the two.

Many othe countries also married girls as young as 9 too, and its still practiced today in some countries.
