@kanthseeker if your referring to me then i didn't say anything against someone else's religion. i followed my guru's teachings and brought the religions back to an equal playing field. a hindu said sikhs shouldn't thumb up comments made by muslims because of what they did to sikhs, i just reminded him that what hindus did to sikhs was no different than what muslims did.
sikhs who thumb up comemts about islam should remeber the way guru tegh bahadur was tortured, how guru gobind singhs CHILDREN where tortured to death, and many many millions more, and many hundreds of temples looted and pillaged many many many millions of broken hearts...Its good some muslims see the light of sikhism, maybe that their true indian identity coming out, something which cannot be converted out, even ifyou convert to islam by force or not, ...not ALL RELIGON ARE GOOD..

Devotees i request to all. It is fancy to utter word "Sri" in front of "Waheguru". waheguru is above all nothing can represent Waheguru. Guru Nanak utter in Japji Shahib , "Vada sahib oocha thaa-o , occhay upar oocha naa-o".
In Sri Guru Granth Shahib, there is no place for 'Sri" preceded 'Waheguru".

it is tricky Baanis should not be corrupted but sri is not a word denoting some thing higher that follows it but it connotes a deeper respect more depth of devotion or goodness where ever it precedes anywhere .

@TheDharmaArmyofASIA allah is another name that has been given to god. sikhs believe we all believe in the same god, we just give god different names. the prominent name used by sikhs is vaheguru. mohammed or any other prophet is not mentioned in the sri guru granth sahib ji, but all religious texts are quoted to show respect. this is done to tell all sikhs to respect all religions whether they are the same religion or not. get your facts straight, sikhs don't consider anyone scum.

@Desifleva I also feel the same way. I have been reading a lot on sikhism and I am thinking of guru jis and sikh history 24/7. I think i am on the right path to becoming a true sikh. I have soooo much love for sikhism. I been teaching my kids also and they love it too.

@vpsmalhotra- We are saying the same thing :). I think the usage of "high" and "drug" can have varied range in meaning for different people.
All journeys face difficult challenges and overcoming highs that are not everlasting are part of the journey.
We must also be careful because there are many foods and thoughts that are poisonous drugs as well.

Devotees i request to all. It is fancy to utter word "Sri" in front of "Waheguru". waheguru is above all nothing can represent Waheguru. Guru Nanak utter in Japji Shahib , "Vada sahib oocha thaa-o , occhay upar oocha naa-o".
In Sri Guru Granth Shahib, there is no place for 'Sri" preceded 'Waheguru".

@preetcharan when we say "satnam sri waheguru,satnam sri wahe guru..." is sri precedes wahe guru or follows "satnam" ?
it is tricky Baanis should not be corrupted but sri is not a word denoting some thing higher that follows it but it connotes a deeper respect more depth of devotion or goodness where ever it precedes anywhere .
It is simply a connotation not denoting higher or lower
so please let us not mess up the spirit of devotion in frivolities

they make you dependent and addict in the pathology sense
real "high" is of saints of saints, not the druggists! had it been so easy to achieve the real "high" through drugs all sainta would have used it for salvation my dear to think that drug's high is real would be wrong sense one has to drink the nectar of "highness" at the feet of saints and in their uncorruptible "VANI" satnam sri waheguru
