@wowee190 As stated in the video's description and in comments, this hasn't worked (for me) since 2 days after I posted this video. Others said they got it to work still, but I couldn't after Oct 20th.

As for the Alt+Z... my vids are usually done without UI... I had to Alt+Z to show "GM Island" text on this vid, and used combat log to hide my friends names in my chat.

The only thing currently stopping this glitch from returning is the need to instant-mount after the *invisible* walls, which are after the blue wall. Mounting past *those* walls now seems to be fixed.

@whohawhee Yes, if you read the comments here and on the OwnedCore forums there was a lot of mixed results with this one.

It even stopped working for me a couple of days after I posted this video... but still worked for others.  Some sort of a hotfix, definitely, but it was never explained why it still worked for some even right up until the last day. If only we could find another insta-mount method...

@whohawhee The main confusion was that there were two instant-mount brooms this year...the Flying Broom (instant-mount while moving) and the Magic Broom (instant-mount ONLY when standing STILL).

Both brooms were instant-mount... only one worked while falling.

There was also a hotfix issued during the holiday that caused SOME not to be able to mount after you passed the blue end-game wall... so that could have also been the cause.

What's funny is that there are several dozen GM characters on that island, you just can't see them because they're flagged as invisible. Not that it matters, because the characters aren't actually using the WoW Client to sign on, so they couldn't see you unless they actually got on one of their other GM characters via the client. All GMs have 3 GM characters, BTW.

I've been a GM and I'm friends with real life GM's. On both private servers and live servers (Practiced on private servers to get the job) You sign on via the WoW client and your account is flagged either 1,2 or 3... 1 is the player, 2 would be GM privelages such as mutes, kicks, instant death... 3 is the admin - that has the ability to perform server resets, and can all chat to everyone currently on the server if need be.

@JohnnyFalIout You're a moron. I was a Specialist GM and worked in Account Admin for nearly 3 years in the Irvine offices. GMs do not communicate via the client unless there's a really good and exceptional reason to do so, and even then it's normally the Seniors that do that. Most GMs don't even log into the client. I did a lot because I handled a lot of hacked accounts and item restorations/investigations. Other than that or to investigate live cheating, it doesn't happen.

In patch 4.3 I believe Blizzard hotfixed the blink spell, as I am no longer able to blink through the blue wall. Anyone else who's into exploration / exploring, throw on some crappy gear and go try this to help me confirm if it has indeed been fixed.

Help me, im dying all time by fatigue...

@RazzeGaming I avoided the fatigue death by flying north from the location I show on the map in my video. You'll go through fatigue waters... but reach the blue wall with like 15 seconds to spare... plenty of time to blink through the wall.

As noted above, many people are reporting this as hotfixed, as there is now an "Unknown" zone beyond the blue wall.... but getting to, and blinking through the blue wall should still not be an issue. I hope this helps.

UPDATE: Another update on this glitch... I am getting reports on this still working for some US and EU servers!! I do not know what the 'common denominator' is... we're still doing research. But it is confirmed that some people do not get the "Unknown" zone after Teldrassil, and therefore can still use the Flying Broom and Blink to get to GM Island. Stay tuned for more info as we find it...

@TheWizardTrokair Makes little sense really, they could avoid such activities from players by just removing GM Island from user clients (considering it has no use at all for players anymore.. used to be used for questioning). They can also check for zone entry to GM Island/Out of bound areas and just port the player to the last known safe location. I assume the only reason it isnt automated is so they can find out how players are avoiding these boundaries so they can fix them.

@TheWizardTrokair I know specifically blues have said it was okay to use in-game exploits to get 'under construction' zones, such as mount hyjal.. and to do so used similar in game mechanics that you're using here.

The ToU says ``(i) Using or exploiting errors in design, features which have not been documented, and/or "program bugs" to gain access that is otherwise not available``.. although, i doubt they'd enforce that since you gain no advantage over other players - such as items, or buffs.

You don't need to be gaining an actual advantage to break that rule... just accessing the area. Technically they can ban you for this.
