  • I would appreaciate your feedback on my band...

  • 2:38 What an ass

Who are the people talking? Show some respect for the music and the artist for crying out loud!

    Nice playing BTW

  • Very welll played and energetic performance... you all do this song great justice and guitar sound and playing spot on perfection!

I been playing this song for years and very lucky to own a Pensa-Suhr MK1 but I always get stumped on the live 2nd solo outtro.... the lick before the D - A pull of on the 5th and 4th strings..

  • Where did you learn that? that was pretty much note perfect, great job :D

  • Ahhh, my father is on youtube -____- Look at him go with his little bassmoves- how adorable.

  • Great job! And nice sound. I have the X3 and trying to get a good knopfler sound.

Congratulations to you and the band.

  • dude you are simply incredible. congrats to whole band, amazing job

  • where are you from?

  • @eduardocastillo UK (london) ;-)

  • awesome, wish you recorded with better quality though, your lead needs to be a little bit louder than everybody else, awesome none-the-less...

  • @gilisfloyd yeah the PA is pointing at us and I have no monitor/speaker so I'm just coming out of the PA whereas the other have something pointing at the camera. Thanks for feedback and kind words though ;-)

  • Hey what pedals do you use ? if you wouldnt mind me asking

  • @jebas1322 just a volume pedal (morley PVO+ in this but just replaced it with an ernie ball 6166) and the rest is all on the line 6 X3 live. I've never delt with pedal boards due to the lack of cash :'-(

  • @jebas1322 X3 live set on the Fender Twin setting. Great since I have to travel halfway across london on foot to rehearse with these guys. I wouldn't get that far with a couple of real amps under my arms :-s

  • I'd pay to see you. How long have you been playing to be that good? Amazing.

  • @seekah1 thanks mate. I started the guitar about 15 years but never took the guitar seriously until about 5 years ago. I had pretty much given up the guitar at university (around 1997 to 2000). It is really about how often you play. One guys year of play is another guys month of play. Anyway thanks again for the comment ;-)

  • @MKGuitarStyle Gotcha. I've been playing off and on for 20yrs, only ten seriously really, and feel now it's intense dedication time to really bring my game up. Of course still keep the enjoyment factor, but priorities will have to be met.

Your technique of course is amazing (just like MK) which only intrigued me more. Do you play with a plectrum equally as much?

  • @seekah1 Yeah, I know some people that seem to put too much pressure on themselves to be amazing and their enjoyment of the guitar is questionable (mid-life crisis's can be involved). In the past I've over step that line due to personal issues (early -ife crisis) but my priorities and enjoyment are back on track. As for the pick, I only use them on occasion for rhythm but MK was my original motivation to play the guitar so I made the decision to play primarily with my fingers from the off.

  • Excellent !

  • Excellent !

  • hehehe did i see you starting to dance ben ????? dont teach me that for god sake !!i sais ill give you my honest opinion and i think its very good but very poor sound and you cant here the guitar over the rest of the band in some parts ... maybe ill be up there with you one day ??? look forward to next lesson !!!! oh wherers my guitar ???

  • Awsome Ben to see! Great news about the band! It will develop you to higher levels!

  • very nice indeed, a bit muddy and distorted sound tho

  • Really good cover! Amazing vibe, indeed!

  • very good vibe - groove !

  • GJ so far. Any chance of you posting the Tabs ;)

  • @leparc2008 lol

  • Great!

  • Nice one Ben - good sound all round, very good for just a handful of rehearsals. The drummer even managed to pull off a toilet break in the middle, that's impressive ;-)

How did you record this? We've been recording our rehearsals on a little MP3 recorder, but the sound's worse than this and I'd like to video it too

  • Superb - & the picture quality is better than the blu-ray Alchemy i just bought ! tragic lol!

  • I love all the improvising you do. Your band has a good overall vibe, too. I think you'll do well in your gigs :)

  • Very energetic! Nice one ;)
