    RIP PHILO & GAR

  • Wonderful version--too bad about the mix. It sounds like the entire mix was taken from the vocal mic. Certainly better than low vocals, but not ideal. But the loose, wonderful performance shines through.

I said something like - slip me some skin brother ... he laughed. He the game me 50p - that was mega ..coz at that time someone would give .. maybe 2p or 5p to the wheelchair cause etc - I was beaming

  • When I was like 2 or 3 (I'm 20 now) my Dad had this concert on VHS and he used to put it on when my mom wasn't around, he came in one time to find me jumping on the sofa playing air guitar!! Best Lizzy song in my opinion, brings tears to my eyes everytime without fail. This is the music I was raised on in my house, I was lucky I guess! :-D

  • Fuck all :))

  • Such a tune. Nice one for uploading there Dime. Phil L & Dimebag darrell = legendary.

  • Gary,Scott and Phil.......what an amazing guitar lineup!

  • Gary Moore is the best Thin Lizzy guitarist. Wow its awesome to see Phil and Gary rock out.! Love this show. AWESOME!

  • @PokerPekka I disagree, Scott gorham and john stykes are the best.

  • @Thinlizzycowboy What about Brian Robertson?

  • @Gov502010

Robertson was very good, and formed the sort of 'iconic' Lizzy line-up with Gorham, Downey and Lynott. I think Gary Moore had a much better energy about him when playing with Lizzy though. Him and Gorham the best partnership IMO.

To the below: Gorham and Sykes?? Are you mad???

  • @Gov502010 Brian is amazing also, I can't believe I almost forgot him!

  • 1100 like!!

  • RIP Phil. 25 years!

  • What an underated band Thin Lizzy was,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,God rest your soul Phil Lynott...what a great voice,,,,,,love to have seen a collaberation on stage with Freddie Meurcury and Queen

  • What an underated band Thin Lizzy was,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,God rest your soul Phil Lynott...what a great voice,,,,,,love to have seen a collaberation on stage with Freddie Meurcury

  • It is also cool to see Gary Moore in the band I saw Lizzie 7 years in a row when they played in Stockholm. And the show with Gary in the band was the best, an amaizing night. Gary added a lot to the band that year as he is one of the best guitarists i have ever heard of.... BTW, Lizzie was a great band and Phil is greatly missed!

  • all the good artist gonna die to early!! Phil Lynott, Kurt Cobain, and ofcourse Hendrix, and yes I know there are a few other great artists they died to early

  • Amazing!!

  • HOW MANY COWBOYS THERE ARE HERE???

  • @xritaly Lots! You have to be a cowboy or cowgirl at heart to fully enjoy this song. Hi Cowbows! :o)

  • Phil you are one of my biggest music influences. Im still heartbroken your gone. Just wanted to say thanks for the music. Peace and love to you wherever you are.

  • I am behind you all the way billyjoe. All these wanna be's if you weren't there when it was NEW then you weren't there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ah, memories of youth, Saturday night , wild irish rose, and a wild irish rock band. The good ol days for sure!

  • Saw them at World Series of Rock Cleveland Ohio 1979.....AC/DC w Bon Scott opened......finished w Ted Nugent and Aerosmith.....Thin Lizzy tore it up!

  • gary moore with a light standard, not his 58 (not enough cherry) but could be an old one, who knows he could have had a few over the years

  • @DakotaPlaysGuitar Its Peter Greens old 59 Burst. He's sold it to a collector now for about 1.2 millions dollars

  • @skelly2608 i heard that he sold it for less and the guy who bought it was trying to get 1.2 million...

  • @skelly2608 Looks very like the Peter Green Guitar but with the neck pickup turned round the correct way . Peter Green got his sound with that pickup turned with the pole pieces away from the neck and the magnet flipped over. !! But that is the guitar alright !! Just check it against a Peter Green ( Early Fleetwood Mac) Video on Youtube !!

  • Sorry guys, Thin Lizzy isn't Thin Lizzy without Brian Downey on stage.

  • @herrtortyr i thought he rejoined in may 2010

  • The tempo is too fast.

  • hernando52fly exelente guitarra como se llama?

  • Gary moore..!aH

  • Who ever doesn't love this can kiss my ass:) Peace and Thx for this
