  • Thx for sharing. I am working on this one on accordion right now and really enjoying it. Hope someday to play as well as you do.

  • @NanB14

    Good luck, and thank you!

  • Love this tune; well played!

  • Nicely played. I believe the tune was originaly called The Wheelwright's Tune, and was played very slowly, almost like a death march. It has never, to my knowledge, been played as the horn dance tune as, in its true form is too slow. Trust me I do know. very well played though.

  • Thanks for your comment!

Whether or not it was ever used by Abbots Bromley, I guess we'll never know for sure, but I've seen it used by Thaxted Morris Men for their interpretation of the dance.

  • This is the original Horn Dance tune but it is very diffucult on a melodeon and is best played on accordion.

  • it is not the abbots bromley tune!!!!!!

  • I think you'll find that this is a variation of the tune collected in 1857. If you mean that this tune is no longer used by the Abbots Bromley Horn Dancers, then your comment is correct.

  • Great tune really well played...nice one!!!
