What a laughable argument, that the poor pollute because they can not afford to be green. If you buy a couch on craigslist instead of going to the store, is that more polluting? If you take the bus instead of driving a SUV is that more environmentally responsible? If you eat rice and beans instead of steak is that worse for the greenhouse effect. This a problem I have with a small subsection of environmentalist types. The kind who think we will consume our way out of this mess.
