Ah yes... I got to shoot a genuine BAR once. About 150 rounds... totally badass. It is heavy, but tames the recoil nicely. I thought it was more fun shooting it at 300 rpm than 600. You don't see many rifles today with an adjustable rate of fire with just the flick of a switch.

I like the stability, accuracy,range, and hard hitting provided by this weapon and the 30/06 round it fired. I liked firing it at night and walking it on target with tracer rounds. Real steady with the bi-pod. It was heavy, because it needed to be to handle the recoil and have sustained fire capability.

Sorry, I have Aspergers Syndrome, which disqualifies me from serving, so aside from one day buying a Garand and shooting it rapid fire, COD is closest I'll get to firing a BAR, and even then they're out of service anyway. No disrespect for the veterans, but the elitist attitude about COD players is getting just as old as those knuckleheads who comment about them playing with "X" gun in COD. And yes as a M1 Carbine owner, I know first hand how inaccurate the game can portray a gun.
