  • nice job even with the casts on!!

  • Showwwww

  • you played this piece way to fast..

  • Loved it, playing this song for concert, u should put more dynamics in it.

  • I'm playing this piece for my Christmas recitle this year! I think this is a very nice piece! You did an amazing job! Keep it up!!

  • What a neat song! I really liked watching you play it...excellent job, despite the torn ligaments and everything, you played it very well. :D

  • I'm learning m. Clementi now.

  • im playing this for my piano recital

  • i refer to this composer as freid rice burgmuller! lol lshtccoomnaiweda

  • I'm 12 and I'm learning this :P, My 5th lesson.

  • @TeresaWii well, it's an extremely easy song to play :P

  • I have found this to be the best rendition of Ballade - Friedrich Burgmüller) on YouTube :-)

  • cool!

  • I will definitely put this on youtube once I perfect it and my teacher says it sounds good! I just started yesterday and I'm already getting the hang of it with your help. thanks again!

  • My teacher is teaching me this on the piano and I really think you perfected it just like my teacher. you played even a little better then that. she didn't add the crescendos, decreschendos and other sound sighns when she was demonstrating it for me. You did great and you didn't do it so fast like other people do when their playing this song on the piano. Since I just started practicing this song on the piano today you taught me of how it should really sound like.

  • I don't know if this is how it should really sound but I appreciate the nice comment. If you master it someday can you post a video?

  • i've played this song for a while and love it. Now I've realized how I can make it better. Thank you

  • good job, definitely helps watching this when learning this piece!!

    Thanks!

  • why you use that thing in your hands?

  • Partially torn ligaments in my wrists.

  • @blackratsnakes owch!!! how is that?

  • I want play the piano like you. But i'm so slow =(

  • what s going up with your hand ???:D

  • thank you i still have to get the beat

  • the begining of the song is suposed to start out quiet and get gradually louderexcept the A thats suposed to be louder than because it has an axcent

  • Well done!

I hope the arm bandages aren't from piano RSI!

  • awesome!!!

  • Working on this piece currently. I use this vid as a guide. Thanks...well played....

  • cool, good luck.

  • that was ncie

  • this A or H at the end was a little unnecesseraly :P

  • H? there is no H note

  • @crazyghetto978818 yup, in german they call B 'H'...

  • @crazyghetto978818 yes there is its B note but its most commonly used as H Note

  • actually it is, instead of torturing yourself by saying B flat, you may simply say H lol

  • you're kidding right? wouldn't A be H then? where did you learn that? i've never learned that, even if you're just joking, you might confuse those who don't play the piano

  • @suenutwalnut there is a difference between A and B flat. However, about the H - I learned that when I was 8 or 9 with my first piano teacher so I might be confused, after all its been 8 years since then. Though I'll google it

  • You play beautifully as always. I could tell you that you need a bit more expression, but you know that, and expression is abundant in all of your other pieces ;)

I'm just thinking that this piece might be a bit easy, considering what else you have done. The hardest part about this piece is its schizophrenic nature- changing the character and such. Well, Idk. You don't really play classical much.

All of your other stuff is played amazingly well. I'm going to subscribe :)

  • Yeah I cringe a little listening to this now, like I'm pounding away with a hammer. Always something to work on but I appreciate the positive criticism.

  • @darkpdxwolf hey um he didnt do so good he acually did pretty bad, your supossed to gradually get louder not be superloud the entire time. if he read the musiche would know, he needs to look at the P's and the F's

  • very nice. this is my personal fave composer. ^_^ anyways excellent. just some advice though...the right hand sounds a little heavy.. but nice!

  • you're 100% right. I sometimes want to re-record it and make an effort at expression but I hate to whack the old version just for a new and improved. Besides I need to remember how awful the color of my shirt was :) Thanks for commenting.

  • Thank you so much for posting, you really helped me learning this piece!

  • cool, glad I could help.

  • beautiful!!!

  • your paino has a very nice crisp sound to it, i like it!!

  • this is burgmuller ur playing not chopsticks

    very bad ..........

  • I can't disagree with you there. Consider it the chopsticks version.

  • wow...i am learning this and seems tricky near the last few measures. a bit faster plz!

  • are you saying it's supposed to be played faster at the end? I have no clue, I just remember my piano teacher having me learn the song many years ago.

  • wow...!

  • i can do that

  • ur not cresendoing in the begining and u need to build up intensity when ur doing the thing after dun dan dun dan i played this song for my high school audition!!!

  • Choppy and with no emotion. But how are you playing with the cast?? Nice devotion to play the piano, dude!!!!!!!

  • nice job!!!!! u r good

  • nice job. You play very fast and precise. Are your hands injured from playing too much?

  • Choppy. A little too *dun* *dun* *DUN* *DUNNN!!!*

  • what happened to ur hand ? Its wrapped .

  • I think the first note of the three notes in the right hand is played portato and only the last second notes are staccato.

  • could be right, I don't have the sheet music to this anymore, I have it memorized from when I took lessons back in the day.

  • blabla

  • i had to watch this a few time but now i know it thanks

  • In my opinion sometimes you could've played softer and contrasts between forte and piano are missing.

  • I've played this song, it was one of the only ones that I could pick up quickly and easily. It was fun playing it, but you play this alot better than I ever could.^ ^

  • that was fantasic keep up the good work!

  • Interesting expression of this piece. Very precisioned yet different from how I was taught how it goes from my music sheet. I slowed down and played it less choppy but with more "feeling" when getting out of those 16th's.

  • I play that song too! This is the first vid. ive seen of this song!

  • You are pretty good man, I´ve been playing piano my self for 6 years now, and I´m playing Pastoral by Friedrich Beugmüller, and this year I´ve also played Candour and Abaresque. C ya!

  • I don't know much by Burgmüller, just had this memorized from when I was taking lessons as a kid. I'll have to check those other ones out, thanks.

  • Yeah do that! But I disspelled one of ém, the songs of Bergmuller I´ve played are Candour, Arabesque, Pastoral and Progess.
