THAT. WAS. AMAZING. i remember we played just before you guys at states and my friends and i ran over to the field to see you guys play, and let me tell you, my nose was right up against the fence. :D ahhh. and this video was fantastic. i'm in awe. ok, maybe this is just the excitement talking, but this HAS to be one of the greatest high school band shows ever played. for constructive criticism's sake, the only bad thing that i noticed were the vertical straight lines. but overall.. wow.

If you want recorded sound, props, stand and play, singing, dancing, poetry, electric instruments, and a show where the effect is more important than the precision of music or marching, (right from the BOA Program) then pay the money and go see a BOA show (a commercial enterprise). If you want to see precision in marching - 4 to 5, circles that slide and turn, toes up, excellence in music, and a band that doesn't stand for more than 4 measures total, come see the DCHS MARCHING BAND.

i really like the whole concept of the show. it's very cool i think. some of your charts are cool too. i'm in GC marching band btw. what did you guys place at OSU? i wish we would of went this year but we didn't. it was fun last year though =]

I loved watching your show over the past weekend in Ypsilanti. It was definitely my favorite - the music was amazing and the marching was great. It was a nice breath of fresh air compared to the other shows with way too many props.

Besides, I love Pat Metheny. :D

This was pretty good. The best of the season so far. Indeed the new visuals we added later added more. Music does need quite a bit of work. Especially in bringing out the low brass/wind parts. I've never noticed it before, but it does. Also the phrasings and dynamics need to be way better. We still need work, but it's getting there. Personally, I'm really proud to be a member of the band this year. It's been a great year so far, and I hope for that to continue. This is awesome for a senior year.

Its kinda weird you say that bc I personally and based off of our scores...our music was our weak point, and this year we have been doing a lot of visual things that we have never done in the past and our scores have gotten much better in GE and visual.
