  • This method works very well for me. It's painful yes. I takes longer to lose the weight yes.

But It's easier to keep the weight off and like the old saying "no pain no gain" Sinse last January ive switched from a poorly planned vegetarian diet to high protein meat diet and weight lifting including push-ups. I've lost thirty pounds. I was 145 now i'm 120. Muscles are beginning to show but it's a skinny-muscular look I dont look like a troglo-dyke. I can see why girls are afraid to do this.

  • @BluntObject1234 also woman want to lose weight due to body image and stuff or to attract the boys. The only people who acknowledged my weight loss were women. Guys don't even notice these things.........with them devil may care of your carrying an extra 10 or twenty pounds lol.

  • I do lift weight and wasn't scared of it but all i got was thunder thighs.

I work my muscle groups 3-4 times a week, followed by cardio, and on the other days just cardio for an hour. Im also on a calorific deficit [1600]. It seems to me im doing everything correctly regarding fat loss and but im not losing any and my thighs are just bigger now from the muscles. Help? :(

  • @bghb1 For how long have you been doing this? If it's longer and you don't lose weight, then you might miscalculate the amounts of calories you consume.

  • @Evilcyber More than five months. I'm almost certain my calories are correct, Ill try to be more accurate as possible if you say its the issue. Is miscalculating calories the ONLY reason why my thighs are getting bigger? Can you please tell me what I need to do regarding exercises[reps, sets] and diet to slim them down? Anything would be really helpfull actually, its been a really long time and Im not even close to my goals. Thanks a lot.

  • Thank you for posting this. I lift as much as a lot of men. I am very curvy depite weight lifting with out the weight lifting I am a "whale".

  • @RizSpunky Thanks for the kind words, Riz! I think being curvy and doing weight training is pretty much an ideal combination for a woman! :)

  • @Evilcyber lol PLease answer to get myself out of this misery =[

  • @bghb1 Don't despair, you can do it! But it's hard to give you a really detailed answer in 500 chars. How about you head over to our forum and describe the problem? That way we can also keep better track of you how progress. The link is in the description of this video.

  • Thank you for posting this. I weight lift as much as some men, I don't look like a guy! I am VERY curvy so staying toned is very important to me.

  • Thanks for the vid, I'm showing it to my sister so she will start lifting more than 10 pounds.

  • agreed on women bodybuilders, steroids and their horrible physiques. even most men can't get like that naturally.

  • @michaelzwarszawy And unfortunately that's the image many people have when they hear "bodybuilding".

  • Great video! I now feel equipped enough to answer these same questions when they come up (because they always do).

  • @sexifencer I'll hope you'll soon have a ton of fit women around you! ;)

  • Looks like you are a bit tired while making this video, nice video though ;D

  • @basejump8 Thanks base! And yep, looks like last week shows, but I didn't want to have another week go by without a video.

  • @asihall Thanks asi, as always! ;)

And yeah, there is no reason for them to be afraid. Weight training has tons of benefits for women!
