  • I personally find cutting the range of motions into half extension works better for my chest.. which is also my weakpoint... the full extension gets my triceps fatigued before my chest really peaks.. chest fly's are my compensation when triceps are spent... my chest keeps a fuller pump when in rest position also.. as opposed to a ridiculous swollen look when flexed..

  • I'm going to university this year to study to be a PT and Nick just isn't one. It's not that easy. You have to tailor each workout to each client. Also you need to know business to build a client base and manage your business. You don't even start working for yourself until you have 10 years experience working for other PT's, unless you're impatient and stupid obviously

Macros matter, but so do micronutrients

I don't take on clients unless they are personal friends.. 90% of trainers are a joke seeing as a certification is literally easier to get than your drivers liscence.. And I guarentee you I know more about the body than majority of trainers. Many don't study biomechanics.

    For it's size the Masseter muscle responsible for lowering and raising your jaw bone and assist in chewing is also very strong relative to it's size. Lastly guys don't have one, but the female uterus is also very strong relative to size, needed to push baby through birth canal.

  • Actually few people involved with weight training know much about how the human body is structured. If I asked which is the largest muscle I'd get many answers. The correct one, gluteus maximus. Yeah your butt. Because it actually extends down the back of the upper legs. Strongest muscles? that would be the muscles that control your eye movement. Read for an hour and they need to make 10,000 coordinated movements. Try doing 10,000 2 lb bicep curls in an hour.

  • Isn't chest a BIG muscle group? Its a combination of 3 muscle separations which all need work, and your chest makes up most of your upper body, being second to Back of course. I don't understand how your saying ARMS are a BIGGER muscle group. I'm probably wrong, but I've always heard it the same I've explained =/

  • you need to add incline and flat press dumb bells as well as straight bar incline and flat. that alone will give you a monster chest. you can also incorporate incline and flat flies. but you can do whatever the fuck you wanna do

What works for him won't work for you unless you match your body's ability to recover as fast as his aka YOU cycle what the IFBB pros do. Chest is a smaller muscle = less is more.. I do even LESS for arms, so I'm not sure where you're getting all that from. Stop buying gimmicks (most books) and simply study biomechanics.

Second of all, it is unlikely that he even came close to a gram 1,000 mg in total of everything he was doing. You shouldn't write about something such as this when you know next to nothing about it. Just an FYI, 3,000 mg of steroids and GH would be insane, and pros never usually go near that, that more like what NFL players do. Study more on anatomy and chemistry bud.

  • The "flexing" during a repetition is pointless in my opinion. I believed in it for some time. The more I thought about it the more I realized it was a waste. By a waste I mean a waste of energy. How do you build muscle? By tearing muscle fibers right? And then later building them back with protein. But by just flexing you dont tear any muscle. All you do is contract the muscle forcing more blood into it. Which would make sense for a warm up set. Any thing after that is useless.
