These symptoms are the same as acid reflux/gerd...

please, if you have some or all of these symptoms, do not assume it's cancer, you will just get worked up. If you do have these and you know you have gerd/reflux, treat the reflux with hydrochloric acid tabs + pepsin. Most reflux cases are caused by too little acid, resulting in reflux, which can result in ulcers, which very well could lead to cancer!

I'm scared now... I've been having bad heartburn/chest pain lately and I'm only 27 years of age.. also have an enlarged thyroid and acid reflux.. will be seeing my family doc this week for answers... just hope it's not cancer

@Cindy221 I hope it went well, and I don't think you get cancer unless you have been having GERD symptoms for a prolonged time, like a few years. (my friend who is studying medicine told me this)

Sorry. I've just been diagnosed with Barretts which is a pre cancerious condition that can lead to this cancer. I hope they have caught it early because if so there are treatments available. Good luck.

My dad just got diagnosed with this today, and he had to tell me on the phone because I couldn't be there before visiting hours ended...

fucking horrible day... I don't really know what to do in the future, now. Everything is just fucked up. I literally can't make it day to day without him.
