i passed out getting my first one.....twice....and its tiny(20mins to do it)!! i got my second one a few days ago and its biggger(45 mins) and i was totally fine the whole way through! i really surprised myself coz im a total wimp! love the northern acccent. probably easier to understand then my cork one!

Always eat before getting tattooed. Always keep a sugary drink with to sip on while getting tattooed. And keep breathing while you're getting tattooed it helps heaps with like living haha

worst thing you can do is tense up when you're getting a tat. once you get used to the first minute or so, it's fine. i could happily fall asleep whilst getting a tattoo done.

Huummm .... 5 tats, 1st right after Basic at age 19, last a few months back at age 30-something, and never knew a thing about this sugar/adrenaline deal. Learn something new every day. I enjoy the pain & rush. But I'm also an extreme adrenaline junky, the kind who would fight a grizzly in a phone booth if it would give me a high. So if I ever DID feel this light-headed/passing out thing, I'd just go "Kewl!! Can you do that again?!" Some people do drugs, I do adrenaline. :) :)

passing out from a tattoo usually happens from a) not breathing or b) your blood sugar is low. when your blood sugar is low and the adrenaline kicks in, people pass out and/or start vomiting. i just had a client pass out on me two days ago.

i had one of my first done in bray near dublin( i'm from holland) and forgot to eat anything...my mate got his first so i had to wait 3 hours then when it whas my turn i got real dizzy haha...put me on the couch en tattooed me while i was eating chocolate and a pint a water now i have 12 tattoos never happend again, this can happen to anyone if you dont eat right no matter how manny tattoos you allready have;)
