I don't even know who the Jonas Brother is. I like much of what Glenn Huges has done, e.g. with Purple, Dio and Phenomena, but face it, this live performance sucks because he is overding it to show off his vocal spectrum. It's like this overly complicated jazz music where people are playing hard parts with no emotion. I have to admit that Glenn is showing some emotion in this act. It's still more ridiculous than pleasant to listen to, though. I prefer both the Dio and Coverdale versions...

This is not the original version so there can be no comparison between David and Glen...Non the less I've seen them both live and I can tell you that David is the crowd pleaser and his singing is more powerful,while Glen's voice is more smooth and soulful and I got goosebumps when he sang this song live!All in all both are incredible proffesionals and there should be no contest between them - it's all a matter of taste ;)

Why Glenn performs "Mistreated" is a bit bizarr and unecessary looking at is great stock on own songs -overall it`s Davids song (as "Smoke On The Water" is Ian`s).

But in the end: Glenn is one of the most talented musicans in the rock-scene ever.

Funny enough....he came up almost from nowhere.The Deep Purple story ended around 1975.The last voice of Hughes was that of 'You keep on moving'... and than was a break.

A few monthe ago I had a great pleasure to see his concert in London, Astoria Theatre.

Yeah, Glenn is making his (nice) night club version of this hard rock song. BUT this is NOTHING / no way near to the idea with the original version. Glenn makes here another song. He couldn't sing like David did EVER!

Glenn has great voice, but his voice suits other kinds of song. Definitely not this one, which requires deep and rough sound. Even Dio tried out this one, but could make it better than David. So sad, but so true. ;)
