@Danthepest1 Don't worry, the 90's had their share of crap movies, you just gotta find that 1 percent, the cream of the crop. IMO, the first scene of Inglorious Basterds in the french farmhouse is instant classic.

We even have good comedians - Seth Rogen, Russell Brand, Jason Segel, Tina Fey... however, we won't know until a few years in the future if they'll stand the test of time and become classics.

Every time the Mask appears, he runs the risk of stopping the action dead and leaving us with a set piece that drops in like a lead weight and doesn't advance the story. But the action is perfectly pitched as the camera moves back among the dancers, the audience and the gangsters. This is a fabulous fantasy film that still holds up after all these years.
