  • one of the funniest movie scenes ever. Notice how ever actor in the scene is trying their hardest to not start cracking up in the middle of it.

  • I hope that someday, Scorsese returns to this indelible story-telling. I really admire it alot

  • Scorsese and DeNiro are legendary Mean Streets Taxi Driver Goodfellas and Casino big fan of Martin Scorsese and Robert DeNiro

  • Definitely my favorite Scorsese movie ever.

Oh sure, I don't mind Goodfellas, the Departed, Taxi Driver and Raging Bull. I just can relate to Mean Streets more and it's a timeless story.

  • @Robin4ever1970 i agree with you 100 percent...i am a HUGE Marty Scorsese fan and i have seen ALL of his movies and this is i think is my favorite...i also believe this is one of De Niro's best roles...

  • Fucking hilarious , absoloutley fucking funny, i fuck you right where you breath ($10 burning lmao) where did movies like this goooo?

  • deniro is awesome ! he is the type of guy i would like in my corner. the catcher of the fallen flock. be kind to him and you win a million dollars. very good, iam very impressed by this oke !

  • I'm on Michaels side on this one, Johnny owed him, he didn't pay. Simple as that.

  • MUDDAH FUCKA

  • who remembers tony? tony saprano's sister janice killed him in "the sapranos".

  • D.D dissapointed dunski........come on big shot...........i fuck you right where you breathe and i don't give a fuck for you or nobody else, cause your a jerk off!!

  • Is that Richie Aprile?

  • @HeFilmsTheClouds Couldn't actually believe it myself. Its David Proval. I've seen Mean Streets like 10 times and when i saw him in The Sopranos i was like: 'Is that the guy from Mean Streets?' So i looked it up and here we are :) Amazing actor. Richie Aprile is one of THE most vicious mobsters have ever seen on film.

  • @texasB666 Lol, I kNEW it was him. My spine shivers every time I think about the the "manson lamps" look he gave Tony. Gotta love those terrifying old school mobsters. Even at 5'6" you know that guy could fuck up just about anyone.

Tony - "I thought I told you to back the fuck off Beansie."

Richie - "I did, then I put it in drive."

  • @HeFilmsTheClouds HAHA yeah i love that. Also when Richie confronts that gambler (The T-1000 from terminator 2) who ows him 8 G's.

    "What are you doin' here?"

    "Hey, Rich."

"Hey Rich?? you got some fuckin' balls you know that..."

    "What i do?"

"i should stab you in the fuckin' eye...." Thats when tony takes him outside because Richie is disrespecting his pokergame :D awesome stuff. I'll never get tired of it.

  • @texasB666 This is not a fucking Sopranos video. If you want to talk Richie Aprile....go on a Sopranos video.

  • @StupidFuckingTrolls Good point.

  • ...right, asshole.

  • @nudaydawning yeah i saw that doc, that comment was fucking hilarious

  • i bet what harvey keitel is thinking in this scene is "this asshole is stealing my movie"

  • "Dee Dee, designated Dunski!!"

  • sometimes i wake up and think damn i wish i was robert de niro

  • That's Jimmy Mook sitting at the bar watching the whole thing.

  • great scene...great acting by DeNiro...WOW, this is from when he was really young...that Johnny Boy was a righteous douche bag...I was happy when he got shot in the neck...he had it coming...

  • when he says fuck face and mother fucker twice... its srsly the greatest thing ive ever witness. he could have not said it anymore badass than he did. wow.

  • was speaking of de niro and keitel this mornin. ..de niro looks the part in this

  • Real Deal -.- De Ni Ro

  • ''Where's the rest??'' ''Well, uh, I uh bought a few drinks down here while I was waiting!!!'' LMFAO!!!!!!

  • When de niro dies, I'm going to cry. then have a wank.

  • @HomebrandMusic01 He must mean a lot to you.

  • these were real films .

  • I love it , it is what it is ! Good acting job.

  • I think every loan shark should have this happen to them.

  • That Michael really WAS a fuckface. He continued to piss Charlie off about Johnny and his money, and if he didn't, he'd threaten to kill him and Charlie. What a greedy douche, and I applauded Johnny when he pulled a gun on him. Prick deserved to be put in his place.

P.S. DO. NOT. EVER. FUCK. OR PROVOKE. ROBERT FUCKING DENIRO!!

  • @thelupoistheman1 I think what's funnier is Michael knew how connected Charlie was. His UNCLE was a Don. They don't show what happens after, but I'd say that more than likely even if his uncle didn't like Johnny, Michael gets whacked on principle for nearly killing his nephew.

  • Don't ever provoke Bobby Deniro.

  • Existential Optimist is SOMEONE WHO DON'T GIVE A DAMN about nothing, but really would like too...LOL...F&%K FACE!!!! LOL

  • DD is officially known in the websters dictionary as Dissapointed Dunsky!!!

  • FUCKface!

  • classic Bobby D!

  • Is this a remastered version of the film or something? it looks really sharp and the sudden cuts seem less obvious

  • what makes me lose it everytime is after charlie yells at him, johnny goes back to stirring his drink like no big deal..

  • DeNiro is fucking scary. I have relatives like that.

  • Best scene in the film... WHY DID YOU DISABLE EMBEDDING? LAME.

  • "cmon cmon, FUCKFACE, cmon"

  • UNFucking Believeable Actor!

  • ........Asshole!

  • 4 people think theyre too good for $10

  • "And I'll tell ya somethin' else...Mikey. I fuck you right where you breathe. 'Cause I don't give two shits about you or nobody else." -- Robert DeNiro FTW!!

  • "It's a good ten dollars."

  • One time I burned three dollars. It was because this guy thought i owed him 4 and he just throws the three dollars i handed him to the ground at my feet. I considered the entire matter honorably settled.

  • Lol he knew what he wad walking into

  • Harvey was cool as shit in this movie.

  • johnny boy forever !

  • Dissa-pointed dunski! de niro is on fire, no fuck that, napalm! thumbs up tho if you have a johnny boy-like character that you have to stick up for constantly

  • @sour8vein00

I got a friend like johnny boy, NAMED JOHNNY BOY OF ALL NAMES

  • Scorsese has strayed so far from this aesthetic that its just sad. This is Scorsese's most personal film, because it is a story which more or less happened to some of his neighborhood friends. That sort of autobiography has vanished from his work.

  • @Beck19781 dude, I was watching this yesterday and thinking the EXACT same thing, theres a really artistic and haunting element to this film and Who's That Knocking, and alot of heart that is missing from his films nowadays, great as they may be....I think Cassavetes, God rest his soul, needs to come back and have another talk with him again, hes the one who encouraged him to make something personal, and thus we have this masterpiece.

  • DeNiro is such a master fuckin technician...

  • The Genius of Martin Scorsese & a young Robert DeNiro

  • Look at Ritchie from the Sopranos

  • i love johnny boy

  • c'mon, c'mon! FUCK FACE !

  • What's the song in the background?

  • you're a fuckin JERK OFF!

  • love this scene! Italians gotta love em!

  • Robert de Niro is one of the smoothest actors of all time!! just listen to the way he talks.. Fantastic.. de Niro is a GENIUS!!!.. My favorite actor of all time!!!! Legend!!

  • FAN-TASTIC.

  • Some of the best acting in the world

  • should have had an oscar for this deniro

  • You dont make up for your sins in church. You do it in the streets. You do it at home. The rest is bullshit and you know it.

  • 2:00 = amazing

  • dang really gud acting from de niro here

  • "C'MON... FUCK-FACE!!!"

  • Dinero's best role and best performance, bar none, in Scorsese's best film, bar none.

  • you want to watch and learn how to act watch Deniro in mean streets a classic,.

  • It's a good ten dollars.

  • D.D

    DUNSKY

  • i fuck you right where you breathe!

  • fucking best movie!!!

  • this is by far the most unlikeable character De Niro has played, even more so than Bickle, La Motta, Doyle, and Cady.

  • @kingcaesar5 even more unlikeable than noodles from once upon a time in america?

  • @rampskater0102 i haven't seen all of OUATIA, but i know about the rape scene after the elaborate intimate dinner. My main issue with Johnny Boy is he has no redeemable qualities.

  • @kingcaesar5

I don't know about that... La Motta and Cady are pretty crazy fuckers.

  • @beeryce88 cady has all the reason to be a crazy fucker, he was fucked over and now he is out for revenge. La Motta was a beast, but atleast he listened, he made up with his wife after Joey told him to and he finally took a dive to earn a title spot. Johnny Boy doesn't listen, this scene is a perfect example as he spits in both Charlie and Michael's faces, he is the neighbourhood fuckup and he doesn't care, he left his own cousin to basically die and is a pathological but creatvie liar

  • man im from the bay area n when i saw this movie i hella related to it. fashion, music, and slang change, but the drama n shit is still there. this is one of the best homie type movie out there

  • Johnny Boy!!!

  • johnny boy was a psycho who truly did not give half of a damn about anything....how do you play games with someone you're in debt with...love it

  • Tony's trying hard not to laugh

  • pure ny but it happens everywhere man.i'm from limerick city, ireland & this makes perfect sense now, today,in my city.haircuts & fashions may change;but there's a johnny boy in every town.universal i'd say.

  • If you do not come from NYC I don't know how you can relate to this movie. I grew up in a neighborhood just like the one in this movie and it does not get more real on a screen then this. The acting is so good it gives me chills everytime I watch it. Saw it when it first came out, I was 12 years old.

  • deniro is fucking awesome!

  • de niro in this scene is a true delinquente

  • LOVE this movie. LOVE.

#1 by Marty. absolute #1. taxi driver just barely got edged into #2 because it doesn't have the raw film quality of Mean Streets.

but it was pretty darn close to #1 =D

  • Johnny Boy may very well be my favorite movie character.

  • Hey asshole! This for you Asshole!

  • FUCKK FACE

  • five stars scene!

  • young psychopath. playing chicken with debt collectors.

  • Thats What They Call A 'Situation'....

And it isn't going to End Well...

  • c'mon MUTHAFUCKA!! lol de niro is badass

  • he is the men, bobby d rules best actor ever

  • thats richie aprile and richard la penna

  • whose richie? tony the bar tender?

  • richie aprile aka david proval in sopranos, richard la penna is michael aka richard romanus

  • Johnny Boy pushed him too far. He should have killed him if he was going to act like that. Dumbass.

  • yeah because johnny boy actually gave a fuck about anything

  • what is so great about de niro at least in his early days was his combination of being scary and humorous at the same time. That's why people can sympathize with his characters. We saw it in mean streets and we saw it in taxi driver. he brought in a new bag of marlon brando rawness to the cinema.

  • @captainkill1 I agree. Now he just kinda...sits there with a scowl and tries to make it scary. He`s not pushing himself to his true potential anymore. I can guarantee he`s saving it all up though...he`s gonna have another good one, just you wait

  • he looks young,and cool,..

  • Comment removed

  • robert de niro looks so cute!

  • Martin Scorsese is in this scene and at the end of the film when it shows that it was Michael and his henchman in the car. Scorsese is the man that shoots in the drive-by.

  • Robert DeNiro is golden

  • FUCK FACE !

  • It's a good ten dollahs.... :O

  • Yeah Bobby Fucken De Niro!!! One out of the 5 of my favorite heroes in the Biz.

    1. Marlon Brando

    2. Clint Eastwood

    3. Al Pacino

    4. Robert De Niro

    5. Liam Neeson

Also I gotta give my respect to Harvey Kietel and Christopher Walken and Michael Madsen even though they arent in tha movie ya know what im sayin? I think there great actors too.

True Badasses who never sold out.

  • Harvey Keitel was in the movie.

  • Yeah Kietel is not only in the movie but in this very scene. He is the main character in the movie "Charlie". You should watch this movie it is a classic. Too bad it's become kind of a cult movie. More people should know it.

  • robert de niro is a living legend......just face it !

  • too bad the only guy who knew how to utilize deniro was scorsese (mean streets, taxi driver, raging bull, goodfellas). deniro's other movies were just crap, except for the deer hunter

  • and Heat, Jackie Brown, Sleepers, Casino, Cape Fear, The Untouchables, Midnight Run, Back Draft, A Bronx Tale, Awakenings, and that little known movie called Godfather II...

other than that, his movies were crap

  • i'm talking about his performances, not the movies. his cape fear performance was great, other than that it was all garbage compared to raging bull, mean streets or good fellas.

he was great in the 70s and 80s but in the 90s he turned into this serious actor who basically did the same movie over and over again. most of them were just trash. seriously, theres no difference between ronin, heat, the score and all those other movies. they're all pretty much the same.

  • @Makaveli25x I so agree with you.

  • and dont get me wrong, i liked all those movies. but his performances in those movies are nothing compared to his 3 other ones with scorsese directing him

  • You don`t think his performance in Casino was great ?

  • raging bull, goodfellas crap? please.

  • Casino is scorsese too

  • cape fear and casino were both scorsese

  • and goodfellas.taxi driver.=p

  • i know that, i was replying someone else's comment man.

  • the mission brazil once upon a time in america 1900 heat a bronx tale wag the dog awakenings midnight run the untouchables bang the drum slowly the godfather p. 2 You call that crap? You're kidding right?
  • like i said, im talking about his the character hes playing in those movies. its the same thing over and over again, like clint eastwood. the movies were great but as far as acting goes they don't even come close to mean streets, raging bull, good fellas etc.

  • well that's your opinion but i still disagree with you.

  • "D.D Disappointed Dunsky, right, asshole!"

  • i'll put this up your ass

  • Coolest character De Niro has ever portrayed

  • i totally agree with you.

  • HEY ASSHOLE! THIS IS FOR U ASSHOLE!!! haha

  • I love the way de niro talks in this movie XD

    he's so fuckin' cool

  • Pure awesome.

  • oh man you take the greatest scene of the film !

  • a producer who watched this film thought de niro was some psychopath scorsese picked up form the street.

  • Hey asshole this is for you asshole!

hahahaha i love De Niro, he's fucking awesome!

  • Interesting how the real masterpieces are the early low-budget ones.

  • i love the reaction of de niros partner after the guy throws the 10 dollars! BADASS!!

  • thats not DeNiro's partner, they're all friends, well Micheal isnt so much Johnny Boy's friend, but Tony reacts that way because he's seeing that there's a problem about to start.

  • "DD dissapoint the dunsky!"

  • best scene ever inthe cinema history. de niro hero

  • 2:13 & 2:20 great!

  • ROFLMAO it's JIMMY MOOK in the background!

    ahahahahah

    heyyyy JIMMY MOOK!!

  • One of my favorite movie and scene of all time :)

  • I DONTS UNDERSTAND?!?!?!? why did he Kills him? he tried his best, 10 tdollars was a lot more back then anyway... DUH

  • he owed Micheal 2,000 dollars! 10 dollars is only something if you consider it 10 dollars by itself, not when you're 190,000 dollars short of a payment. Johnny Boy didnt die, so he DIDNT kill him, also..he didnt have him shot because of the payment, it was because of the insult of pulling a gun on him. Thats big time insulting and threatening. AND he did NOT TRY HIS BEST-did you even watch the movie? He was ducking Micheal the entire time. He was irresponsible and reckless

  • how do you know that johnny boy didnt die? just because he was walking around during the end of the film dont mean he lived.

  • they said he didn't die.

  • and cause you see him in the opening credits, which take place after the ending of the movie.

  • @jsphmerc 190,000 short? your mean $1990 short?

  • LOL how would YOU feel if someone was owing you 2 Gs? $10 ain't even nowhere close to that

  • FUCKFACE!! haha

  • One of my favorite scenes ever. I can watch this scene 20 times a day. Thanks for posting it.

  • "Your a fxxxxx jerykoff!" (1:53)

  • great scene -thanks

  • you cut out johnny boy's hilarious dance at the end! Is that Richie Aprille from the Sopranos next to Johnny Boy btw??

  • That's what I was thinking, looks just like him and the time frame's just about right for his age.

  • its him, David Proval

  • ya, and michael is tony's shrinks husband

  • it absolutely is...David Proval

  • Yeah he was "cuttin a rug" there at the end. This is a great movie.

  • whats the name of that song? its cool

  • Mickey's Monkey by Smokey Robinson & The Miracles

  • Amazing movie, amazing scene. De Niro's laugh at 1:51...absolutely brilliant.

  • De Niro sets the screen alight

  • "D.D Disappointed Dunsky, right, asshole!"

  • love this movie:)

  • Hell yea, he's down.
